Chewing Up The Turn

When we came to Stevan Chew's table there was a flop showing {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} and Chew was in the hand against two opponents. This is when all three players started getting their chips in the middle, including Manny Rodriguez.

Rodriguez: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Chew: {10-Spades}{7-Spades}
Opponent: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Rodriguez was out in front with his set at the moment but when the {5-Spades} landed on the turn, the flush for Chew would put him in front. The river didn't pair the board for Rodriguez and his cards were sent into the muck as he survives with around 40,000.

Back on the Horse

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Chris Moorman sees so many hands when he plays online that his mind is used to coping with bad beats, bad plays, and being bluffed by opponents. This is why he is able to get back on the horse and continue his with his game plan like it never happened.

Less than 30-minutes after that hand versus Nino Morotta his stack has grown from 50,000 up to 117,000. He is raising every hand he gets the chance, of course.

Quads for Hachem

Joe Hachem is one of the chip leaders now after doubling through Jamie Pickering in a pot worth more than double the average.

We reached the table after the flop had been dealt as {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. Pickering checked to Hachem who bet 24,100 before he was check-raised up to 54,000. Hachem only had another 3,300 back and moved them over the line. Call.

Pickering: {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for flush and straight draws.
Hachem: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for top set.

Hachem didn’t have to sweat long as the turn came {8-Spades} to make him quads. That was all she wrote.

Moorman Stone-Cold Bluffed

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Chris Moorman just got taught a poker lesson by Nino Morotta, and that’s a problem when you’re a big name; players take shots at you for the fame.

Moorman opened from UTG and was called by Morotta and the big blind. The flop fell {4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{a-Hearts} and Moorman continued for 5,100. Morotta raised to 11,200 which was enough to force out the big blind, but not Moorman who three-bet to 21,500. Call.

The turn came a dangerous looking {9-Hearts} and Moorman thought about what to do before leading for 21,200. Moratta moved all-in for about 50,000 and Moorman snap-folded only to be shown {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a bluff. Moments after Morotta slammed his bluff cards down onto the felt he was off to look for friends in the cash games to tell his story to.

Best or Worst

When we came to Jack Glazier's table, there was a board showing {2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Glazier was faced with an all-in from her opponent.

"This will either be the best call i've ever made or the worst call i've ever made," Glazier said as she decided what to do.

We aren't sure about the worst ever, but when Glazier made the call and her opponent turned over {k-Spades}{3-Spades}, it would be too strong for her {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} as she took a hit to her stack.
