From early position, Bryn Kenney opened for 7,000 and Alexandros Kolonias called from the hijack. Big blind Steffen Sontheimer over called and all three of them checked the flop and turn. The river came the and Sontheimer checked again. Kenney bet 17,000 and Kolonias called. Sontheimer check-raised to, what looked like, 225,000 to put them both at risk. Kenney needed time and tossed in a time breaker chip, but folded. Kolonias folded as well.
Nick Petrangelo opened for 7,500 from middle position and over on the button David Peters three-bet to 20,500. Both blinds folded, Petrangelo called.
Both checked and the hit the turn. Petrangelo check-called a bet of 20,000 and the completed the board. Petrangelo checked, Peters bet 50,000, and Petrangelo shoved for 104,000.
Peters called, but mucked after being shown by Petrangelo for the flopped full house.
David Peters opened from middle position to 7,500 with Steffen Sontheimer the only caller in the small blind. Both players checked the monochrome flop.
The turn saw Sontheimer open for 14,500, which was enough to get Peters to give it up.
Undeterred Peters opened the next hand, again for 7,500, this time finding no callers.
Now sitting under the gun plus one Peters raised for the third time in a row, again making it 7,500. Sontheimer opted to look Peters up once more, this time from the cutoff and action went heads-up to a flop of .
Both players checked the flop and the subsequent turn before Peters led out for 15,000 on the river. Sontheimer thought for 15 seconds before making the call, his leading Peters’ to take the pot.
Blinds are still 1,500 and 3,000 with a 500 ante. There are 33 minutes left on the clock for this level. Play is back underway with the final nine players.
What started as a limped blind versus blind hand quickly escalated to result in the elimination of Mikita Badziakouski.
Preflop Sam Trickett completed from the small blind and Badziakouski checked his option taking both players to a flop of .
Trickett led out for 5,000 and after a little deliberation Badziakouski made the call.
The turn brought a 15,000 second barrel from Trickett before Badziakouski moved all in for his last 56,000 reasonably quickly. Trickett, sitting on around 142,000 tanked for the full 30 seconds and used two of his three time breaker chips before finding the call and the cards were turned over.
Sam Trickett:
Mikita Badziakouski:
The river was a non-spade and Badziakouski hit the rail while Trickett climbed to 235,000. With nine players now remaining there will be a new seat draw as the two tables are merged into one.
David Peters opened the cutoff for 7,500 followed by a Alexandros Kolonias three-bet to 22,000. Both blinds folded and Peters called. Peters check-called 25,000 on before both of them checked the on the turn. Peters bet a mere 20,000 on the river and Kolonias tanked for a bit to make his decision. He used a time breaker chip to gain a minute to tank but when that too ran out, he was just too late to toss in another one. Kolonias was forced to fold, decent sized pot to Peters.
Action folded to Steffen Sontheimer on the button and he opened for 6,000. Big blind Sam Trickett three-bet to 17,000 and Sontheimer called.
The flop came and Trickett bet 19,000. Sontheimer wasted not much time piling his 25,000 into the middle and Trickett beat him to the pot calling all in for 76,500 total.

Steffen Sontheimer:
The dealer burned and turned the rapidly, and Trickett asked him to wait: "Wait, wait. Let me enjoy this. One brick please!"
The dealer obliged, putting the out to complete the board.
