Foxen Busts to Westmorland

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

On a table filled with big stacks, Alex Foxen and Jordan Westmorland were the two "shortest" stacks with more than 30 big blinds each and both would eventually clash. Foxen defended his big blind and check-called two barrels by Westmorland to see a pot of 90,000 emerge until the {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} river.

Foxen checked with 70,000 behind and Westmorland bet 120,000 with another 30,000 behind. After spending some time in the think tank, Foxen called it off and Westmorland turned over the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} to see Foxen briefly flash {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} before sending his cards into the muck.

Zhang Eliminated; Karamalikis Chips Up

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Chi Zhang
Chi Zhang

Chi Zhang was left short and got {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} in against the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} of Alex Foxen.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. "Nine on the river," said Zhang. The turn {a-Diamonds} didn't help and the decidedly un-nine-looking {3-Hearts} came on the river and Zhang was eliminated.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Karamalikis raised to 5,600 and Sam Higgs three-bet to 13,600 from the button. Karamalikis called and the flop came {j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Karamalikis check-called a bet of 12,800 and the turn {j-Diamonds} was checked by both players.

On the {6-Hearts} river Karamalikis bet 13,600 and Higgs called, but mucked when his opponent showed {8-Spades}{9-Spades} for a pair of nines.

Chen Loses Flip to Karamalikis

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

The all in showdowns keep coming at a frequent pace and it was a classic coin flip that saw Pete Chen all in and at risk for around 76,000, which Jonathan Karamalikis had covered by some 25,000 from one seat over.

Pete Chen: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Jonathan Karamalikis: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

On the {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, Chen pointed to the queens as that would have given him a straight, however the {8-Hearts} turn and {4-Clubs} river were both blanks.

Zhang Left Short; Hallaert Eliminated

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

Alex Foxen raised to 5,500 and Chi Zhang shoved from one seat over on the button. Foxen called and put himself at risk for around 45,000.

Alex Foxen: {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Chi Zhang: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The board came {K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and Foxen rivered the ace to improve to a better full house.

Soon after, Kazuhiko Yotsushika raised to 7,000 and Foxen called. Kenny Hallaert announced all in from the small blind for 77,500 and Yotsushika reraised all in. Foxen asked for a brief count on Hallaert's jam and released his cards into the muck.

Kenny Hallaert: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Kazuhiko Yotsushika: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The flip went to the Japanese on a board of {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Hallaert was gone. "Nice hand. This table has been good to you," Jordan Westmorland said from one seat over.

Tsang Busts to Salter

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

With action on the turn, Anson Tsang was all in for 115,000 against Jack Salter on a {5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{j-Hearts} board.

Anson Tsang: {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Jack Salter: {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Salter had flopped two pair against the pair and turned flush draw of Tsang. The river was the {6-Spades} and Tsang was eliminated.

Kramer Eliminated by Gierse

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

[Removed:172] check-shoved a heads-up flop of {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for the remainder of his short stack and flipped over the {Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for second pair and a back door flush draw. Marius Gierse called with the {A-Clubs}{9-Spades} and sent his fellow countryman to the rail after the {10-Diamonds} turn and {10-Hearts} river run out.

Gierse's table broke right after and on his new table, Nick Solomos doubled for just 10,300 with {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts} after flopping a flush versus {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Heath Chips Up Through Yoon

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Ben Heath raised to 5,000 from under the gun and got three callers including Brian Yoon, Claas Segebrecht and Robert Spano.

Spano checked the {k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Diamonds} flop to Heath who bet 8,700. Yoon was the only caller.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Heath bet 26,500. Again, Yoon called.

The river was the {6-Clubs}. Heath moved all in for 68,000 and Yoon folded.

Young Leads the Field; Christner Doubles

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

The lengthy battle with a below-average stack of Jack Sinclair has come to an end. The Brit eventually got it in out of the blinds for around 57,000 with the {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and table big stack Rory Young looked him up with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. After the flop of {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Sinclair needed a deuce or running cards to avoid elimination, but the {Q-Hearts} turn and {6-Diamonds} river were both blanks.

Sam Higgs had Christian Christner all in and at risk for 33,500, but the German had little to fear with {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}. Higgs only had {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and there was no miracle upset on the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{J-Spades}{A-Hearts} to keep Christner in the running.
