O'Grady Eliminated

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Michael O'Grady had been a big stack not long ago but the Aussie just left his seat and the tournament area very quickly while the dealer announced a seat open. Indeed, there were no chips left in the two seat that had belonged to O'Grady while his table neighbor John-Christian Templeton was busy stacking a lot of chips.

According to tournament staff, O'Grady was involved in a three-bet pot to the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop and ended up calling all in with {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} for a pair of kings and the nutflushdraw. Templeton was ahead with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} and the turn and river bricked off.

Templeton joins the six-figure stack club in level four, only trailing Julian Stuer a few tables over.

Big Double for Stuer

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante
Julian Stuer
Julian Stuer

Ashley Sleeth raised to 700 and the cutoff made it 1,700. Julian Stuer in the small blind put in the 700 of the initial raise and only then noticed the three-bet, which he called off. Sleeth came along to make it three-ways to the {Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop. The action checked to the cutoff, who bet 3,700. Stuer check-raised to 10,500 after some consideration and Sleeth quickly folded.

However, that didn't end the action just yet as the cutoff opted to reraise to 23,700. Stuer moved all in for another 27,150 on top of that and the call followed after some table chat and no reply of Stuer.

Stuer turned over {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and the cutoff showed {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}. Neither the {K-Spades} turn nor the {5-Diamonds} river were a threat for the Vienna resident and he doubled to six figures.

Karamalikis Doubles Through Taylor

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

With the turn showing {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Jonathan Karamalikis moved all in for half the pot, 4,575 to be exact. Big stack Clinton Taylor gave it some thought and nodded, then splashed in calling chips.

Jonathan Karamalikis: {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Clinton Taylor: {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

"I could beat a draw," Taylor said and the {J-Clubs} on the river bricked off to secure the double for Karamalikis.

Trips for Stuer

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

There was a limp from the player under the gun. It folded around to Julian Stuer in the small blind who called and Ankush Mandavia checked his big blind.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Stuer bet out for 300. Mandavia folded and the first player called.

The turn was the {q-Spades}. Stuer bet 1,100 and again his opponent called.

The river was the {a-Hearts} and Stuer bet again for 3,500. His opponent counted out the chips and threw them in.

Stuer turned over {7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for trip sevens. His opponent tried to muck, but his card caught his sleeve as he was mucking and he accidentally turned over {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

No Call for Nolte

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the heads-up turn of {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{9-Spades} in a battle of the blinds, Angel Guillen checked and Christian Nolte bet 1,550, which Guillen called. The {A-Spades} fell on the river and Guillen checked once more. Nolte jammed for what appeared to be 5,500 and Guillen spent more than three minutes in the think tank. He kept staring at his opponent, but no visible reaction of Nolte followed and that ended up in the fold of Guillen.

Despite claiming this pot, Nolte remains short with fewer than half the starting stack.
