Kempson Jams Up his Stack

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Wei Zhu takes a big hit
Wei Zhu takes a big hit

Corey Kempson raised in early position and picked up one cold-caller before Wei Zhu three-bet out of the blinds. Kempson four-bet to 21,500 and Zhu was the only caller. Zhu proceeded to check-call bets of 13,000 on the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop and 19,000 on the {A-Clubs} turn.

There were close to 100,000 in the middle when the {4-Clubs} appeared on the river and Zhu checked once more. Kempson pushed all in for effectively 43,000, as that's what Zhu had left. It took more than seven minutes into the break when Kempson eventually called the clock and Zhu folded with 10 seconds to spare after he was given the one minute countdown.

Ogura Doubles Through Addamo

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With around 10,000 in the pot and the board showing {10-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Hearts} Takashi Ogura bet 5,000 from the big blind before Michael Addamo raised to 12,500 from the next seat over.

Ogura thought for a minute before casually pushing his chips forward and going all in for 34,400. Addamo snap-called.

Ogura then flipped over his {q-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a full house and had Addamo drawing dead after he revealed {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for trip tens.

The meaningless {4-Hearts} completed the board and Ogura was awarded the pot.

Rudelitz Rivers Zobian

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Aram Zobian raised to 2,700 from under the gun and was called by Enrico Rudelitz in the hijack as well as the player in the big blind.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades} and the big blind checked. Zobian continued for 3,500. Rudelitz called. The big blind folded.

Both players then checked the {9-Clubs} on the turn as well as the {k-Clubs} on the river.

Zobian flipped over {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for a pair but would lose out to Rudelitz who showed {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a higher pair on the river.

The {4-Diamonds} completed the board and Kempe thought for a minute before pushing forward his larger chips and announcing all in. Marquez snap-called with 45,800 in her stack.

Kempe tabled {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for a pair of jacks. Marquez then flipped over {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the nut-flush and took down the large pot.

Paul Palsovic

With the turn showing {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}, Paul Palsovic in the hijack made it 8,000 to go and picked up a single caller in Minh Nguyen in the cutoff. The {A-Spades} followed on the river and Palsovic bet once more, making it 10,500 to go. That proved to do the trick, as Nguyen opted to fold and forfeited the pot.

Game Over for Lodge

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Over on table 10, one of the few tables with a flop camera in the middle poker of the Crown Poker room, Raphael Wimmer opened the button to 3,000 and the small blind three-bet to 8,000. Harry Lodge in the big blind four-bet shoved for around 60,000 and Wimmer was the only caller.

Harry Lodge: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Raphael Wimmer: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop gave Lodge some more outs, but he failed to get there on the {K-Spades} turn and {J-Diamonds} river.
