Marsh Has the Higher Pair

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

Justin Liberto made it 1,200 to go and was called by Luke Marsh on the button and the big blind. Marsh was the only caller and the {q-Clubs} turn brought a second barrel for 4,400, Marsh called.

The {2-Clubs} on the river was checked and Liberto briefly showed the {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Marsh had the higher pair with the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

Kempe Jams Into Mirzikinian

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Ryan Hong and Sosia Jiang confirmed that the action on their table has been crazy so far and that didn't slow down with the arrival of Warwick Mirzikinian, who was just involved in the action. Ting-Yi Tsai bet the {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop for 2,000 and Mirzikinian raised to 5,500 on the button. Defending champion Rainer Kempe raised to 9,500 and Tsai folded, Mirzikinian called.

After the {k-Hearts} turn, Kempe jammed for 26,750 and Mirzikinian folded after giving it some consideration. The table previously lost Derek Ip, who lost his entire stack in two hands to Mirzikinian.

Lewis Doubles Through Kisacikoglu

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

A big pot was brewing between Toby Lewis and Orpen Kisacikoglu with around 25,000 chips in the middle on a {10-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} board. Kisacikoglu checked to his opponent who then shoved for 24,900. Kisacikoglu didn't look confident, but called with {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a set.

However, Lewis had flopped a straight with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and dodged the board pairing - or indeed the cased jack - on the {6-Clubs} river to double up.

Dhingra Forces Out Grafton

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Sam Grafton opened and Gautam Dhingra three-bet to 4,000 from the small blind. Grafton four-bet to 13,000 and Dhingra called.

Dhingra check-called 8,000 on the {3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Spades} flop and both players checked the {10-Diamonds} turn.

The river was the {3-Clubs} and Dhingra moved all in for 29,200. Grafton pondered and eventually mucked.

"Show one," said tablemate Bart Lybaert to Dhingra.

"If I show one, I can ask you to show one later on," said Dhingra, with Lybaert agreeing. Dhingra turned over the {k-Spades}.
