Greenwood Doubles Through Yan

Level 5 : 400/800, 800 ante

Luc Greenwood three-bet jammed for 19,500 out of the small blind and button raiser David Yan called.

Greenwood held the superior ace with {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} versus {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} and the {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board further improved him to a flush.

Quads For Nakanowatari

Level 5 : 400/800, 800 ante

The cards were already tabled and the player on the button was all-in with the {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} to find himself up against the {9-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} of Junichi Nakanowatari, who had flopped quads on {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}. The {8-Clubs} turn and {6-Spades} failed to provide any miracle, sending the pot over to Nakanowatari.

Wu Above 100k

Level 5 : 400/800, 800 ante

Yake Wu and Aymon Hata had been among the bigger stacks early on and the former just jumped above two times the starting stack by taking down a pot against Elio Fox. On a flop of {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, Fox made it 6,500 to go and Wu called. The {a-Hearts} turn was checked by Fox and he called a bet of 10,500.

The {9-Diamonds} on the river went check, check, and Wu tabled {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for two pair to claim the pot.

Too Many Outs? No Problem as Weis Eliminates Aido

Level 5 : 400/800, 800 ante

Sergio Aido was all in for 13,600 with {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} against the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} over Oliver Weis.

After Weis muttered something in German, tablemate Dietrich Fast turned translator.

"He said he never wins these," said Fast.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} giving Weis an open-ended straight draw.

"Too many outs," remarked Fast.

The turn {q-Hearts} gave Weis even more outs.

"Too many outs!" remarked Fast again.

The river was the {10-Spades}, giving Weis a better two pair and eliminating Aido.

Wolff Runs Into Higher Pair

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

George Wolff was all in for a mere 10,400 and he picked up a reluctant call from Nathanael Seet in the blinds.
