Burns Gets Some, Drops Some

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Kahle Burns (cutoff) flatted a 4,000-raise from his neighbor Dzmitry Urbanovich and Joe Cabret came along from the big blind. The {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop brought a continuation-bet from Urbanovich and only Burns called the 5,500.

The {8-Spades} turn was checked and the {a-Hearts} river as well, and Urbanovich showed {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. Burns, however, rivered the winner with {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.

On the next hand, Burns three-bet to 15,500 over a raise from middle position and the opener moved all in for 68,200. Burns tanked for a while but eventually wasn't willing to invest that much.

"That's it for me, I am out. I three-bet kings and he jammed ace-queen. Flop queen, queen, trey," Bruno Portaro said on his way out of the tournament area. A quick look on his former table revealed two bigger stacks one of which belongs to Chi Zhang. Phachara Wongwichit confirmed that it was Zhang who sent Portaro to the rail.

Angel Guillen has also been knocked out and he was spotted railing Alex Livingston.

Aido Can't Trap Jetten

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Sergio Aido checked from the big blind on {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Peter Jetten bet 3,000—roughly a third of the pot—from the cutoff. Aido check-called.

The {a-Clubs} hit the turn and Aido checked again. Jetten bet 9,000 and Aido called.

The {8-Diamonds} river saw Aido check one more time. Jetten, however, checked back this time, saving himself some ammo as Aido showed {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for the nuts. Jetten had flashed {q-}{j-} before Aido revealed his Broadway.

Wu Wins From Aldemir

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

While almost everyone waited for the cards to be dealt, one table was already underway as the dealer thought it had been announced to do so. Koray Aldemir had raised to 3,200 and Jack Sinclair was to act in the small blind. The floor was called and it was ruled live. as soon as the level then officially started the action continued.

Sinclair folded and Yake Wu in the big blind called. On the {j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, Wu checked and called a bet of 2,500 to then check the {j-Clubs} turn, Aldemir checked back. The {2-Diamonds} fell on the river and Wu check-called a bet of 10,400 to see his {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} as the best hand, Aldemir was caught bluffing with {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.
