Anna Wroblewski
Anna Wroblewski has been skating on thin ice for much of the day, but has just given herself a bit of extra stability after doubling up through Mick "The Hoon" Stanton.
Anna moved all in pre-flop from the button holding K-9 offsuit and Stanton made the call from the big blind holding A-8 offsuit.
The board filled out 7-9-J-8-K giving Anna a pair of nines and just under 10,000 in new chips.
After the hand, The Hoon told Anna, "I knew you were making a move."
Josh "JJProdigy" Field
You've read all the forum posts, blogs and news stories about notorious online poker pro Josh 'JJProdigy' Field . . . now it's time to hear from the young man himself.
PokerNews and PokerRoad presenter Amanda Leatherman asks Field all of the tough questions regarding his disreputable past and discusses the experience of playing in his first ever live event.
Rayan Nathan has been peddling his short stack pretty hard since the dinner break, and when he finally found a hand worthy of a raise Eric Assadourian piped up "Here he comes...the rock finally plays a hand!". The table chuckled but perhaps Nathan didn't see the funny side as the rest of the table folded.
Jonny "Yoyo" Vincent limps in from early position and two other players also come along. The player in seat 9 bumps it up to 3,000 and Vincent shoves all in for around 13,000. The action folds to the original raiser who makes the call with pocket queens. Vincent turns over pocket kings and is in great shape to double up. The board arrives 5-3-3-6-7 and Vincent's kings are good to double him up to close to 30,000 in chips.
