2025 BSOP Super High Roller Series
Level: 21
Blinds: 30,000/60,000
Ante: 60,000
The remaining 27 players are taking their final 15-minute break of the day.
Bernardo Soares opened to 100,000 from under the gun, and Frederico Nizzato called in the cutoff.
Soares continued for 150,000 on the J♠K♥7♥ flop, and Nizzato called again.
There was no slowing down from Soares on the 9♣ turn, as he bet 225,000. This time, Nizzato responded with aggression, raising to 750,000. Soares called.
The A♦ completed the board, and when Soares checked, Nizzato immediately moved all in for 980,000.
Soares was out of time extensions, and his clock ticked down close to zero; he returned his cards to the dealer.
Thiago Crema raised to 100,000 in the cutoff, only to be three-bet to 275,000 by Renan Bruschi on the button. The action returned to Crema, who four-bet all in for 1,800,000, and Bruschi called, putting himself at risk.
Renan Bruschi: K♥K♦
Thiago Crema: A♦Q♣
The 10♠4♥5♥K♠7♥ board only served to improve Bruschi to top set, and left Crema on life support.
A few hands later, Crema only had 25,000 left in his stack and put it into the middle from under the gun. Bruschi three-bet to 115,000, and the rest of the table folded.
Thiago Crema: Q♦7♣
Renan Bruschi: A♥K♠
Crema took the lead on the Q♥8♠10♥ flop, and stayed there on the 5♠ turn.
The K♦ river sealed his fate, though, as he was eliminated.
The other players at the table were already leaving to go off on break as Gregory Fabiao raised to 100,000 in early position on the last hand of the level. Marin Gechev then shoved for 1,100,000 in the small blind, and Fabiao snap-called.
Marin Gechev: A♠Q♦
Gregory Fabiao: J♦J♥
Gechev needed to survive the flip, but Fabiao spiked a set on the J♠5♥2♦ flop to take a big lead. The 2♣ turn improved Fabiao to a full house, and the A♣ river arrived too late to safe Gechev.
Leonardo Rizzo raised to 100,000 in middle position and Vitor Dzivielevski called on the button. Leandro Prinz then three-bet to 450,000 in the big blind, and only Rizzo called.
The flop came Q♥4♦6♠ and Prinz bet 300,000. Rizzo called to the 2♦ turn as Prinz slowed down and checked. Rizzo then bet 305,000, and Prinz called.
Prinz again checked the 7♠ river, and Rizzo quickly checked back. Prinz turned over K♠K♥ and Rizzo mucked.
Paulo Joanello raised to 100,000 in the hijack before Fabiano Kovalski moved all in for 705,000 on the button. Matheus Grazziotin called in the small blind, while Joanello got out of the way.
Fabiano Kovalski: A♦Q♥
Matheus Grazziotin: J♠J♣
Kovalski was racing for his tournament life, and the flop came K♥10♦2♠ to give up a few additonal outs with a straight draw. The 10♣ turn took away with straight draw, while the 4♣ fell on the river and Kovalski was sent to the rail.
Josef Huber moved all in for 535,000 under the gun as action folded around to Martin Kabrhel in the big blind. "Okay, let's see the flop," he said as he called to put Huber at risk.
Josef Huber: J♣J♦
Martin Kabrhel: A♦10♥
The J♠5♣4♠ flop gave Huber top set, while the 9♣ turn left Kabrhel drawing dead. "Yes! We made it!" Kabrhel shouted out, happily paying off Huber's double up after the 2♥ completed the board on the river.
Bernardo Soares limped in from the small blind, Giorgio Tonin raised to 175,000 in the big blind, and Soares called.
The flop came 5♠4♠9♥ and Tonin bet 250,000. Soares called, and both players checked the 5♣ turn.
Tonin then bet 550,000 on the 10♣ river, and Soares again called. Tonin showed K♠K♥, and Soares mucked.
