Pedro Padilha raised to 60,000 in the hijack and Gregory Fabiao called in the cutoff. Martin Kabrhel then three-bet to 300,000 on the button, and Padilha came back with a four-bet to 650,000. Fabiao folded, while Kabrhel called.
The flop came 8♥5♥3♣ and Padilha bet 300,000. Kabrhel called to see the Q♣ turn as Padilha slowed down and checked. Kabrhel then bet 505,000.
Padilha moved all in for 1,465,000, and Kabrhel only took a few seconds before announcing "pass."
"Show. I said please," Kabrhel implored Padilha, who was about to return his cards face down when Kabrhel used his winner showdown card. Padilha then revealed A♥A♣.
"Overplay aces. Everyone overplay aces in Brazil. I don't know why," Kabrhel added.
On the feature table, Isabella Costa moved all in for 190,000 from the hijack, and only Guangbiao Wu called from the small blind.
Isabella Costa: Q♥10♥
Guangbiao Wu: K♠J♣
The 2♠J♦A♦4♠6♠ board offered no help to Costa, who exited the main stage.
Ramiro Araujo opened to 65,000 in the cutoff, which Leonardo Rizzo called on the button. Edmilson Silva responded with a three-bet from the big blind to 240,000. Araujo then four-bet to 530,000, which saw the back of Rizzo. Silva moved all in for roughly 1,100,000, and Araujo called.
Edmilson Silva: A♠K♠
Ramiro Araujo: J♥J♣
Araujo improved to top set on the 7♥6♥J♠ flop, but there was still hope for Silva when the 4♠ turn gave him a flush draw.
The 8♣ river was a brick, and Silva said his goodbyes before leaving the table.
Leonardo Rizzo opened to 65,000 from under the gun, and only Ramiro Araujo called, defending his big blind.
Both players check on the 10♦6♦K♠ flop, and the 5♠ joined the board.
Araujo checked, Rizzo bet 75,000, and Araujo called.
The 7♣ river saw both players check once again.
Araujo tabled A♣5♥, but had been rivered by the Q♠7♠ of Rizzo.
Renan Bruschi bet 80,000 from the button on a flop of 9♦K♦4♥ and Marcelo Bernardino called in the big blind, while Dante Goya folded under the gun.
The turn was the 7♠ and Bruschi bet another 300,000. Bernardino then moved all in for 850,000, and Bruschi quickly called.
Bernardino had Q♦6♦ for a flush draw, while Bruschi had K♥Q♠ for top pair. The river 7♣ was no help to Bernardino, and Bruschi held on to send Bernardino to the rail.
When the action folded to Alen Fillipi in the small blind, he moved all in. Isabella Costa called in the big blind, risking her 125,000 stack.
Isabella Costa: A♣9♦
Alen Fillipi: A♦4♦
The 10♣8♥10♦J♦3♠ runout was safe for Costa, earning her a full double up.
Josef Huber opened to 75,000 from the hijack, and Igor Perez responded with a three-bet to 150,000, one seat to his left. The action folded back to Huber, who called.
The dealer provided a 8♠3♥A♦ flop, which saw Huber check, before folding to a continuation bet of 75,000.
Rafael Furlanetto and Martin Kabrhel went to the turn on a board of 9♦6♠4♦Q♠ when Kabrhel bet 200,000 from the button. Furlanetto called in early position.
The river was the 6♥ and Kabrhel bet another 395,000. Furlanetto took a minute, but he eventually called once more.
"Not Casino Royale," Kabrhel said, opening up Q♦10♣ for two pair. Furlanetto mucked.
"I was bluffing. Against Parana, it was my duty," Kabrhel added.
