Eduardo Silva
Eduardo Silva

Diones Lopes raised to 60,000 in the hijack, Eduardo Silva moved all in for 400,000 in the big blind, and Lopes snap-called.

Eduardo Silva: K10 All in
Diones Lopes: AA

Silva had run right into Lopes' aces, but the K69 flop gave him some hope with a pair. That hope quickly evaporated on the A turn as Lopes hit top set, leaving Silva drawing dead. The 4 completed the board on the river, and Silva was sent to the rail.

Rizzo Applies Pressure, Buriti Doubles

Level 18 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

In a blind versus blind battle, Leonardo Rizzo four-bet jammed from the small blind versus Renan Buriti in the big blind.

Buriti called, putting his 825,000 stack at risk.

Renan Buriti: JJ All in
Leonardo Rizzo: 64

Rizzo immediately stood up from his chair when he saw the 35A flop, having flopped an open-ended straight draw.

The Q turn was no help, and nor was the A river, seeing Buriti hold to double up.

Pedro Padilha
Pedro Padilha

Luis Kamei opened to 60,000 from under the gun, receiving calls from Pedro Padilha on the button and the player in the big blind.

Kamei continued for 55,000 on the 8106 flop, and Padilha responded with a raise to 165,000. The big blind folded, and Kamei called.

The dealer revealed the J turn, and Kamei checked. Padilha then moved all in for 550,000, which was slightly more than Kamei's stack of 440,000.

Kamei went deep into the tank, using five time extensions before choosing to call.

Pedro Padilha: 88

The 4 completed the board, meaning Padilha's set remained the best hand, and Kamei was eliminated.

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Giorgio Tonin

Rafael Furlanetto raised to 50,000 in the hijack and Giorgio Tonin called in the cutoff. "Parana in, I'm automatically in," Martin Kabrhel said, referring to Furlanetto's hometown, as he came along in the big blind.

The flop came Q89 and action checked to Tonin who bet 60,000. Kabrhel called, as did Furlanetto called.

Tonin bet another 185,000 on the 4 turn, and Kabrhel folded this time. Furlanetto again called, and the 7 fell on the river. Tonin then bet 1,000,000.

Furlanetto used up a few time banks before folding, saying he had two pair, and Gregory Fabiao used his winner showdown card. Tonin turned over AJ as he took in the pot.

"One of the greatest bluffs in Brazilian poker history," Kabrhel added.
