Kevin Vandersmissen opened to 48,000 under the gun and Andre Corredoira called from the hijack. Paul Guichard then re-raised to 134,000 from the cutoff, getting through the button and the blinds. Vandersmissen responded by shoving for roughly 670,000. Corredoira ducked out of the way, but Guichard called.

Denis Cheremisin opened to 50,000 in the hijack and Karim Lehoussine shoved from the button for 343,000. Action folded back to Cheremisin who called with . Lehoussine tabled and appeared primed to double up.
However, the board came down as Cheremisin spiked a jack on the flop and river to eliminate Lehoussine.
The two biggest stacks at the feature table have butted heads already, with chip leader Luca Pagano and Vadzim Kursevich going at it in the first hand here on Day 5.
The hand began with Pagano making it 51k from the button and Kursevich three-betting from the big blind, making it 157k. Luca called and the flop fell .
Kursevich made a 155k continuation bet and Pagano flatted again. He fired another 275k bullet at the turn, but could not shake Pagano.
Finally, after the river, Kursevich bet 430,000 and again Pagano called with , but second pair was not good enough.
Kursevich held and after adding the chips to his stack, he moved into the chip lead above Pagano.
It didn't take long for the action to get going at the outer tables. On table three Nikolaus Teichert open shoved for 487,000 from under the gun. Artem Litvinov was in the big blind and tanked for three minutes before calling.

The German paired his kicker and banged both fists down on the table in celebration.
