Florian Bordet kept henging around, as Teddy KGB would put it, but the Main Event finally ended for the sympathetic Frenchy. Down to his 30,000, Bordet stuck it in with pocket sixes and Danny Tang looked him up with ace-jack. Two aces on the flop put the final nail in the coffin, and Bordet was eliminated.
Mihai Niste raised to 16,000 under the gun and it folded to Jason Mercier who eyed Nista's stack before he three-bet to 47,000.
It folded back to Niste who four-bet all in for 179,000 and Mercier called.

Damien Luis raised and Benjamin Saada shoved his stack of around 13 big blinds from one seat over, Luis called.

Marc Trijaud opened from early position, Van Hiep Tran three-bet out of the small blind and Trijaud then shoved for 160,000. Tran called and both players turned over pocket pairs.

Aku Joentausta raised to 17,000 and Philipp Gruissem in the big blind called. On the 
flop, Gruissem check-called a bet of 15,000 and did so again on the turn for 30,000. After the river, Gruissem checked for a third time and Joentausta bet for what looked like 95,000.
Gruissem tanked for quite some time and then released his cards.

Gaelle Baumann made it 14,000 from under the gun, and two players called before Sam Grafton (pictured) raised to 50,000 from the button. Baumann made it 110,000 and only Grafton called.
The flop of

turn, Grafton's bet of 81,000 got a tank-fold from the stylish French pro. Baumann, however, slips to 195,000, while Grafton sits behind a tournament-high stack of just over 801,000. The biggest voice at the table on most days has largely been quiet today, but he's been joined at the felt by some elite tournament regulars, and he's shown he can switch it up.
