Lim Doubles Up, Toma Eliminated

Chin Wei Lim raised it up from the cutoff and Tsugunari Toma stuck in a three-bet on the button. The blinds folded and Lim just called. The flop came {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Lim led out for 26,000 which Toma called.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Lim checked this time. Toma counted out a bet of 61,000 which forced Lim to use a time extension. Lim eventually shoved all in for 161,500 and Toma made the call.

Lim flipped over {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} which was ahead of Toma's {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. The river was not able to improve Toma who sent over a double up, leaving himself with just 20,000 chips. He was eliminated on the next hand and forced to head to the registration desk.

Kahle Burns opened to 6,500 and Orpen Kisacikoglu three-bet to 31,000 from the big blind. Burns called.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Kisacikoglu bet 20,000. Burns called. The turn was the {7-Hearts}. Kisacikoglu bet 76,000 and Burns called again.

The river was the {3-Clubs} and Kisacikoglu thought, before moving all in for 150,000. Burns snap-called.

Kisacikoglu showed {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} but Burns had turned trip sevens with {7-Spades}{8-Spades} and sent his opponent to the rail. The Turk immediately re-entered.

Two Bets Does the Job for Lim

Yuan Li opened to 6,000 from under the gun and Chin Wei Lim three-bet to 18,000 a couple of seats over. The action folded back to Li who made the call.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Li check-called a bet of 7,000 from Lim. The turn was the {k-Hearts} and Li tapped the table again. Lim fired out another bet of 16,500 and Li finally let his hand go.

Chidwick Shoves on Kisacikoglu

In a three-bet pot with around 45,000 in the middle, the dealer fanned a flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Stephen Chidwick checked from the cutoff and Orpen Kisacikoglu bet 15,500 on the button. Chidwick check-raised to 37,000 and Kisacikoglu called.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Chidwick used up a time extension before shoving all in for around 80,000 which prompted a quick fold from Kisacikoglu.

Since the last break, Juan Pardo, Bertrand Grospellier, and Sam Grafton are the latest players to take their seats.

Greenwood Gives Up the Charade

Juha Helppi raised it up to 6,000 in the hijack and Sam Greenwood defended from the big blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} and both players checked to the {a-Hearts} on the turn.

Greenwood checked again and Helppi tossed in a bet of 9,000. Greenwood check-raised to 35,000 and Helppi called to see the {3-Diamonds} on the river. Greenwood used a time extension but decided to shut down with a check. Helppi checked it back and Greenwood showed {7-Spades}{6-Hearts} which was no good against the {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} of Helppi.

Sam Grafton was seen getting up from his seat and leaving the tournament area and it appeared as though Vladimir Troyanovskiy was the beneficiary of his chips. Just a couple of hands later, Artur Martirosian and Troyanovskiy went heads-up to a flop of {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

Martirosian checked from the cutoff and Troyanovskiy bet 5,000 on the button. Martirosian called and the {9-Hearts} landed on the turn. Martirosian checked again and Troyanovskiy bet another 11,000. Martirosian check-raised to 37,000 and Troyanovskiy made the call.

The river was the {8-Hearts} and Martirosian shoved all in for just under 80,000. Troyanovskiy eyed up his stack for a moment but then released his cards to the muck.
