Pujol Holds on to Triple

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Matthew Cartwright raised to 3,500 in the cutoff before Ramon Daniel Pujol shoved for 10,500 in the small blind. From the big blind, Kevin Weiland also shoved for 19,000.

Cartwright tanked for about a minute before making a reluctant call, showing {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. He was dominated by Weiland's {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, while Pujol had {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Neither Cartwright nor Weiland connected with the {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades} board and Pujol tripled up his short stack, while Weiland took the side pot off Cartwright.

Two Pair No Good for Burlacu

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a completed board of {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}, after a check from Robert Burlacu, Marco Foschini pushed all in for 26,900 into the pot of 35,000.

After a good minute in the tank, Burlacu made the call and tabled {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a rivered two pair of aces and fours. Unfortunately, he was quickly shown the bad news when Foschini turned over {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a turned set of tens to win the pot.

D'ascenzo's Chip Stack Ascends

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

In the last hand before the dinner break, the action folded around to the cutoff, Antonio D'ascenzo, who raised to 3,300. The button folded and Jerome Dumayet, in the small blind, reraised to 11,500. D'ascenzo made the call and the two players went to the flop.

On the flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades} Dumayet bet 5,000 and D'ascenzo called.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and Dumayet decided to bet again, this time for 20,000. D'ascenzo thought for a while before making the call.

The river was the {a-Clubs} and both players checked quickly. Dumayet's {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} was ahead until the river as D'ascenzo showed {a-Spades}{3-Clubs} and scooped the 74,000 pot.

Colavita Puts On The Pressure

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Mario Colavita opened the action from the cutoff to 2,600 and only Clement Dumortier made the call in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Dumortier check-called a bet of 3,500 from Colavita. On the {j-Clubs} turn Demortier checked again and Colavita took a moment before sliding out a bet of 7,000, which was enough to take the pot as Demortier let his hand go.

Corbelli Puts in Massive Shove on the River

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Loris Corbelli and Ignacio Sole Aparicio built a pot of 20,000 heading to the {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop. Sole Aparicio, from the big blind, bet 7,500 and Corbelli called on the button.

The turn came the {8-Hearts} and Sole Aparicio checked. Corbelli put in 17,000 and Sole Aparicio called to see the {a-Spades} on the river.

He checked once again, and this time Corbelli moved his entire stack in the middle, a bet totaling 71,000. Sole Aparicio went into the tank for several minutes, asking the dealer to confirm the amount, before he violently tossed his cards across the table.

Van Hoek Takes it Down

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

After a flop of {k-Hearts}{3-Spades}{j-Clubs} was checked through, the turn {k-Spades} saw a bet of 5,200 from Roy van Hoek in early position and a call from Loris Corbelli.

The river was the {6-Spades} and Van Hoek bet again for 8,300, and Corbelli decided he'd had enough and let it go.

De Oliveira Takes Down Three-Bet Pot

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The action was picked up on a flop of {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} in a three-bet pot of roughly 25,000 in the middle. Vjekoslav Lozo led from the small blind to 7,100 and Gabriel Bueno De Oliveira made the call on the button.

The {6-Diamonds} hit the turn and Lozo checked over to De Oliveira who bet 12,200, which was called. On the {j-Hearts} river both players checked and the hands were tabled.

Lozo rolled over {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} for missed straight draw and ace-high while De Oliveira happily turned over {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for bottom pair and enough to scoop the large pot.
