Covrig Goes All In Twice In A Row

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

From middle position, Sergiu Covrig opened to 2,600 and was called by the button. In the big blind, Tinay Aksoy three-bet to 12,200.

Covrig thought about it for a long moment and chose to go all in for 59,600. The button folded and after a few seconds, Aksoy folded too.

On the next hand, Covrig raised again to 2,600. He was called only once, by Biao Ding in the big blind.

Both players checked on the flop of 2Q7 to find the 9 on the turn. Ding bet 6,000, Covrig raised all in, and Ding folded.

Kirecci Check-Raises Nekrasov

Suleyman Kirecci opened to 2,500 from under the gun and Alexandr Nekrasov three-bet to 7,500 in middle position. Kirecci called as the action got back around.

Kirecci checked on the flop of 257 and Nekrasov continued for 3,000. Kirecci check-raised to 15,000 and Nekrasov laid it down.

Baryshnikov Dances Around Smolka on the River

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 698, Dawid Smolka bet 8,500 under the gun before Nikolay Baryshnikov raised to 20,000 in the small blind.

Smolka called to see the 8 turn, where Baryshnikov bet another 12,000. Smolka again called and the A fell on the river.

Baryshnikov then put in two blue 5,000 chips and announced he was all in for around 25,000. Smolka asked to see his stack but quickly mucked.

Guerrini Picks Off Spragg

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Marle Spragg bet 2,200 from the hijack on a flop of 84J and Michele Guerrini called in the big blind.

Both players checked the 9 turn and Guerrini also checked the 2 river. Spragg then fired out another 7,000 and Guerrini called.

Spragg showed K10 for a missed straight draw, while Guerrini turned over the 8 for a pair of eights to win the pot.

Benjamin Spragg just took his seat in the tournament, as did fellow Team PokerStars Pro Parker Talbot.

Bohdanov Bets Out Dan

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Renat Bohdanov, back in action after having his aces cracked earlier, bet 2,500 from middle position on a flop of K6K and Adrian Dan called under the gun, while Iraklis Manikaros folded the button.

The turn came the 6 and Bohdanov bet another 11,000. Dan tanked for nearly a minute before putting in a call as the 10 fell on the river.

Dan checked again and Bohdanov grabbed a stack of blue 5,000 chips and went to put them in the middle. Dan didn't even wait for Bohdanov to complete his bet before tossing his cards away.

Daniel Rezaei just took his seat in the tournament at this table right before break.

Abed Takes From Zubov

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

In a blind versus blind situation, Roger Abed in the small blind and Alexander Zubov in the big blind discovered a flop of 895 where Abed checked.

With his big stack, Zubov bet 1,500, and he was called. On the turn 5, he just checked back. The river card was the A and Abed took the lead, betting 1,000.

Zubov hesitated, then folded.
