Wiecek Run Out Before Break

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The rest of the field had already gone off on break, but most of the players at Table 5 stayed behind as George-Mircea Tomescu and Piotr Wiecek were still involved in a massive pot.

There was already around 80,000 in the middle as the board read 47K54. Wiecek, in early position, then moved all in for around 60,000 and Tomescu quickly called in the big blind.

Wiecek showed A10 for a bluff, while Tomescu had 43 for trip fours to win the pot and ensure Wiecek wouldn't be returning from the break.

Readers might remember hearing about the race car tearing through the Wynn Las Vegas last November. It appears that was part of the production for Red Bull's epic race through Las Vegas.

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Aliaksandr Shylko was all in for 25,000 from middle position, Mihai Hanu had his last 35,000 in the middle from the big blind, and button Anton Kuznetsov had them both covered and at risk.

Aliaksandr Shylko: A10
Mihai Hanu: KK

"I thought for sure I was going to hit an ace," Shylko said on his way to the exit.

Jason Wheeler
Jason Wheeler

Jason Wheeler and Sergio Lage Cuinas built a pot of around 50,000 heading to the river with the board showing 59J910 when Wheeler, in the big blind, led out for 25,000.

Lage Cuinas then moved all in for 54,000 from middle position, sending Wheeler deep into the tank. "Do you have jacks," Wheeler wondered as he leaned over the table, giving the decision considerable attention before throwing in the chips to call.
