Baltateanu Lays Down a "Good Pocket" to Shehata

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Saad Shehata bet 21,000 from the button on a flop of 9Q4 and Silviu Baltateanu called in the hijack.

The turn came the 2 and Shehata moved all in for 106,000.

"Pair of kings? Ace-queen? Bluff?," Baltateanu asked as he interrogated Shehata for a few minutes. Shehata remained silent as the clock continued ticking.

"Fifty-fifty. I have a good hand, a good pocket," Baltateanu added. He eventually announced "pass" as Shehata prepared to take the pot.

"I show if you show," Baltateanu said, but Shehata returned his cards face down.

"Maybe a semi-bluff. Ace-king of diamonds," a tablemate added.
