Kenjic Survives Against Aygun

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jovan Kenjic, who was chip leader earlier in the day, found himself down to 225,000 and moved all in from the button after Aksel Aygun had raised to 55,000 in early position. Aygun called to put him at risk.

Jovan Kenjic: A10
Aksel Aygun: QJ

"Good luck," both players said to each other as the flop came 53A, giving Kenjic top pair. The Q turn gave Aygun some outs, but he missed the 9 river and handed over a double up.

"Never easy," Kenjic said after dodging the river.

Ahuja Gets Paid on the River

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of 104104, Ankit Ahuja bet 85,000 from the big blind and Anthony Khouzami called in the hijack.

The river came the A and Ahuja fired out another 200,000. Khouzami spent about a minute in the tank before calling the bet that represented most of his chips.

Ahuja then turned over 74 for a full house and Khouzami mucked.

"I folded seven-ten for you," Silviu Baltateanu said to Ahuja after the hand.

"Good. You should fold that," Ahuja replied.

Treccarichi Stings Tomazou on the River

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Three-handed on a flop of 572, Andreas Tomazou bet 75,000 from the hijack and Walter Treccarichi called in the small blind, while big blind Simone Andrian got out of the way.

The turn came the K and Tomazou used one of the new bumblebee 100,000 chips to put out a bet. Treccarichi again called as the 10 fell on the river.

Tomazou then bet 200,000 and Treccarichi took his time before calling. Tomazou turned over QJ for a bluff, while Treccarichi showed 99 to win the pot.

Rakhimov Wins Classic Flip

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Sergei Bagirov opened in late position to 40,000 before action was on Azizjon Rakhimov in the cutoff who put in a three-bet to 125,000. It folded back to Bagirov who tanked for about a minute before he announced he was all in having Rakhimov covered by only a couple blinds. Rakhimov snap called and the cards hit their backs.

Azizjon Rakhimov: QQ
Sergei Bagirov: AK

The full board ran out 57874 and Rakhimov would earn the pure double and leave Bagirov's stack crippled in the process.

King-Queen Works For Bagirov, Wroblewski

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Petre Ionescu raised to 55,000 in early position and Sergei Bagirov called for his last 50,000. Azizjon Rakhimov also called in the hijack before big blind David Kaufmann three-bet to 250,000. Both Ionescu and Rakhimov folded.

Sergei Bagirov: KQ
David Kaufmann: JJ

Bagirov took the lead on the Q23 flop with a pair of queens, then improved to two pair by the river as the board came AQ to earn a double up.

Elsewhere, Michael Goossens was all in for 200,000 and up against Piotr Wroblewski.

Michael Goossens: A7
Piotr Wroblewski: KQ

Goossens remained in front on the 5372 board, but the river came the K and Goossens put his head down as Wroblewski rivered a pair of kings to send him to the rail.
