Pinville Cracks Aces to Bust Chaouki

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

An early position player opened to 1,100 and Rachid Chaouki three-bet to 3,000 in middle position. Michel Pinville cold-called on the button and the big blind also called, while the initial raiser folded.

The big blind led out for 6,900 on the {7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop and Chaouki raised to 16,500. Pinville quickly three-bet to 31,000 and the big blind folded just as quickly, while Chaouki agonized over his decision before calling off.

Pinville had flopped a set to have Chaouki drawing to just two outs with his aces as the board finished out {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} to mark Chaouki's elimination.

Delaney Jnr Falls to Azrak

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Brian Delaney Jnr opened to 1,200 from early position and was called by Alberto Ah Line and Ertan Ates from middle position and the small blind, respectively.

Omar Azrak squeezed to 6,000 in the big blind, which prompted Delaney Jnr to move all in for 17,200. Action folded back to Azrak and be called.

Azrak stayed in front after the {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop and locked up the hand after a he made a set on the {9-Diamonds} turn. The {8-Diamonds} completed the board and eliminated his opponent.

Cardinali Wins Preflop Raising Skirmish

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Andrea Cardinali raised to 1,200 from the cutoff and Pedro Cervantes made it 3,500 with a re-raise. Cardinali wasn't ready to give it up, putting in the four-bet to 9,200.

"Let me see your blue chips," said Cervantes, before counting his own stack. Cervantes folded and Cardinali scooped the pot.

Cozzula Doubles with Aces

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Gilles Lamy opened to 1,100 from middle position and Kevin Clement called on his direct left. Franco Cozzula then jammed for 8,400 from the button. Daniel Ruiz, in the small blind, four-bet to 17,000 and the active players folded.

Cozzula was a huge favorite to win the preflop cooler and it looked like the pot would head his way following the {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop. The {9-Hearts} turn however, gave Ruiz a flush draw.

The {10-Clubs} completed the board and Cozzula raked in the pot.

Saminadin Doubles Through Derwiche

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Thomas Saminadin was seen raking in a pot as he doubled through Imad Derwiche with the board reading {3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

Saminadin held {8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for two pair as he doubled his stack of around 35,000, while Derwiche's hand had already been mucked.

Terzian Takes Down Pot With Better Kicker

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Dominique Terzian raised to 1,200 from early position and picked up calls from Ali Nikravesh on the button. Players in the small and big blind defended.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{a-Spades}{4-Spades}. Terzian made a continuation bet of 5,000 and Nikravesh called. The turn came the {5-Hearts} and both players checked.

On the {5-Hearts} river, Terzian led out with a decent sized bet of 13,000 and Nikravesh called.

Terzian showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Nikravesh showed {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Terzian's kicker gave him the pot.

Naderzadeh Busts Sikora

In a four-way pot with the board reading {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, Mateusz Sikora moved all in for 5,800 and only Jan Naderzadeh called with a bigger stack.

Kremer Cooked by Bolimowski

Francois Kremer opened to 1,000 from early position before Julien Bolimowski three-bet to 2,500 from the hijack. Kremer then made it 16,000, leaving around 7,000 behind. Bolimoski put him all in, and Kremer called for his tournament life.

The {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop was of no help to Kremer however, the {k-Diamonds} turn did offer him a lifeline. A second king failed to appear as the {5-Diamonds} river confirmed the short stacks elimination.
