Father and Son Start Day Side by Side

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Mortiz Gamsjager and his father Christoph entered the day not only with similar short stacks of under ten big blinds, but seated at adjacent tables.

Moritz won his way into the event on a $0.50 silver pass satellite, and then actually won another entry during the Pokerstars EPT Barcelona meet-up event.

He's since not only made Day 2, but spun his short stack up to 200,000 chips.

Dad Christoph wasn't so fortunate as his run has come to an end, though still with the min-cash he earned for making it to Day 2.

Jacques Der Megreditchian moved all in for 85,000 under the gun and Sandro Pitzanti called in early position, having Der Megreditchian barely covered.
