Voreland Rivers a Flush, But Mangroe Hits a Boat

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Nicolai Voreland
Nicolai Voreland

Nicolai Voreland was all in for his last 100,000 or so with Firoz Mangroe making the call to try and eliminate him.

Nicolai Voreland: KJ All in
Firoz Mangroe: AQ

Voreland was behind to the ace-high of Mangroe, but he did have two live cards working for him.

The 944 flop gave Voreland even more outs in the form of a flush draw. The 4 landed on the turn, and the Q hit the river, completing Voreland's flush. However, the river card also gave Mangroe a full house, and after a few moments, Voreland realized he was beaten and headed to the exit.

Champlin Nearly Cracks Kings in Six-Bet Pot

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A raising war took place with Spencer Champlin opening in middle position and Kelvin Kerber three-betting to 50,000 in the cutoff.

Champlin clicked it back with a four-bet to 110,000 and Kerber responded by five-betting to 190,000 after using a time bank. Champlin used a time bank of his own before six-bet jamming for around 480,000. Kerber quickly called with a bigger stack.

Kerber was far in front with pocket kings but the flop landed 983 to give Champlin a flush draw. Luckily for Kerber, the board finished out 68 to keep his kings ahead as Champlin hit the rail in one of the biggest pots of the day.
