Thomas Eychenne opened to 50,000 from middle position and faced Matthew McEwan, who defended from the big blind.

Both players checked a flop of J♠7♥7♠, leading to the 10♥ turn, where McEwan bet 110,000. Eychenne called.

McEwan over-bet to 375,000 on the J♦ river. Eychenne went into the tank, and his reflection led him to a call. He threw a chip in front of him but quickly found out that he lost the pot against McEwan's full house with 8♥7♣.

Yohan Rascar opened Q♠10♠ in the cutoff to 50,000 and Jimmy Kebe just called with A♥K♣ in the big blind.

Kebe paired his king on the 7♥K♦8♥ flop and checked it over to Rascar, who continued for 60,000. Kebe then raised to 150,000, and Rascar let it go.

In the next hand, Rascar opened 3♠3♣ from the hijack to 50,000 and Felix Kurmayr called from the big blind with K♠Q♦.

They both checked the 6♥5♣5♥ flop to the 5♠ turn, where Kurmayr checked and Rascar fired 105,000. Kurmayr called to the 6♠ river, which put a full house on board.

After Kurmayr checked it over, Rascar checked back and the two split up the pot.

The flop came Q♠4♠2♣ and Ionita bet 65,000. Pantazis called and the 4♣ fell on the turn.

Ionita then bet 185,000 and Pantazis again called. Ionita used a time bank on the K♠ river before firing out 350,000, and Pantazis folded this time.

At another table, Tomasz Brzezinski was all in for his last 525,000 and up against El Mostafa Bel Khayate in a blind versus blind battle.

"It looked like a deuce!" he said as he wiped sweat off his brow.
