Tobias Leknes raised to 160,000 from the hijack before Anton Suarez three-bet to 500,000 from the cutoff. When it got back to Leknes, he chose to four-bet rip it for 4,735,000. Suarez got an exact count from the dealer, then made the call to put Leknes at risk.

Leknes had made a move with a suited ace, but had run into the big slick of Suarez.

The flop came down A♦9♠7♣ to give both players top pair, with Leknes needing a four. The K♣ turn left Leknes drawing dead to Suarez's two pair, as the 4♠ completed the board.

Leknes was out in 13th place and Suarez moved up to over 16,000,000.

The dealer spread out a flop of 5♠2♠K♥, and Marin continued with a bet of 125,000. Leknes stuck around with a call.

A 10♠ on the turn caused Marin to check the action over to Leknes, who threw out a bet of 300,000. Marin made the call.

The 7♥ river checked through and Marin revealed 7♣7♠ to take down the pot, as Leknes mucked A♠10♦ for a pair of tens.

From under the gun, Thomas Eychenne raised to 120,000 and only Joao Webber called out of the big blind.

Webber and Eychenne checked the 7♣10♣5♥ flop to see the 10♥ drop on the turn. Webber led out for 350,000, and Eychenne continued with a call.

A 7♦ river saw Webber overbet for 1,200,000. Eychenne tanked for quite some time and was visibly distressed by the spot he was in. In the end, Eychenne chose to call.

Webber showed a bluff with Q♣8♦, and Eychenne took down the pot with 9♣9♠ for just a pair of nines (two pair with the tens on the board).

But it was short-lived as the flop landed 9♦10♠8♣ to give both players straight draws and the 6♦ turn gave Lozano the straight before the blank 6♠ river confirmed Gotuzzo's elimination in 15th place.

Foggin Bets Big on the River

Youssef Zereg raised to 135,000 in early position, Marc Foggin three-bet to 375,000 in the hijack, and Zereg called.

The flop came K♠8♦4♥ and Foggin continued for 225,000. Zereg called and the K♣ fell on the turn.

Foggin then bet 425,000 and Zereg again called. The 8♠ came on the river and Foggin spent a few moments shuffling around his chips before pushing forward 1,200,000.

Zereg went deep into the tank as a large crowd, including many of the players at the main feature table, gathered around. Zereg ended up burning four time banks before tossing his cards into the muck.

Brzezinski took a commanding lead on the 7♦7♠Q♦ flop by improving to a pair of queens. The K♥ turn meant Michas needed one of the two remaining jacks on the river to survive. An A♦ completed the board, and Michas was out in 16th place.

Marin started with a check on the J♦3♣A♠ flop, and Suarez took the betting lead by firing out 130,000. Marin called.

The 3♥ hit the turn and Marin check-called a second bet from Suarez, this time 325,000.

A 10♥ rolled of on the river and Marin checked again. Suarez put together a third and final barrel of 800,000, which was enough to get Marin to lay his hand down.

Lozano had the better ace and Foggin looked likely to be the next casualty of the Main Event.

However, the flop of 10♠3♦K♦ gave Foggin a pair to put him in the lead, although Lozano had a lot of outs with two cards to come. The 3♠ on the turn was safe for Foggin, and the 10♦ river may have improved Lozano to a flush, but Foggin was upgraded to a boat.
