Marin Triple Barrels to Get Gotuzzo to Fold

Sergio Carro Marin made it 100,000 from the button with 10♠8♠ and only Hugo Gotuzzo defended from the big blind holding 6♠6♣.

Gotuzzo checked after the dealer spread out the Q♣9♥9♠ flop, and Marin placed out a continuation-bet of 50,000. Gotuzzo called.

A 3♦ rolled off on the turn, causing Gotuzzo to check again. Marin tossed out a second barrel of 135,000. Gotuzzo paused momentarily, then made the call.

The K♠ completed the board, prompting one last check from Gotuzzo. Marin took a few moments, then jammed, covering Gotuzzo. Gotuzzo had 850,000 remaining in his stack, and after a long tank, reluctantly folded his cards.

Yohan Rascar raised to 100,000 under the gun and both Tobias Leknes and Anton Suarez came along from the blinds.

All three players checked the 2♣8♠K♣ flop. Suarez then bet 275,000 on the 9♠ turn and Rascar called. Leknes, though, put in a raise to 900,000.

Suarez folded, but Rascar called to see the 3♦ river. Leknes checked to Rascar, who bet 800,000. Leknes tanked for a minute before calling.

"You're good," Rascar said, showing A♠4♠ for a missed flush draw. Leknes turned over 8♣7♣ for third pair as he took down the massive pot.

Kebe needed to win the flip to stay alive, but an 8♠ in the window wasn't good news, especially when it was followed by 10♥2♦. Only running cards could save Kebe, but the 2♠ turn left him drawing dead as Webber made a full house.

A Q♠ did fall on the river just to rub a little salt in the wound of Kebe, then he made his way to the exit in 21st.

Kevin Houghton made it 125,000 under the gun before Sergio Carro Marin three-bet to 300,000 out of the hijack. Once it folded back to Houghton, he called to see a flop.

The dealer produced a monotone flop of J♦2♦4♦, which Houghton checked. Marin checked behind and the 9♠ rolled off on the turn. Houghton led out for 250,000 and Marin called.

The 9♣ completed the board and after using a time bank card, Houghton jammed for 545,000. Marin snap-called and was shown A♠J♥ by Houghton for a pair of jacks. Marin had that beat with A♦9♦ for the flopped nut flush, and Houghton was out in 22nd place.

Sergio Carro Marin raised under the gun to 100,000 and Tomasz Brzezinski three-bet out of the hijack to 250,000. When it folded back to Marin, he continued with a call.

A flop of 4♥4♦9♦ came down and Marin check-called a bet of 160,000 from Brzezinski.

Another check came from Marin on the J♠ turn, allowing Brzezinski to fire a second barrel of 420,000. Once again, Marin continued with a call.

An A♥ dropped on the river and both players checked. Marin showed a missed draw with K♦10♦, and lost the pot to Brzezinski's A♣10♠ for a pair of aces.

Rascar opened from the hijack to 100,000 and Palevic three-bet the button to 260,000. When it got back to Rascar, he called.

They saw a flop of 9♥6♣4♣ and after Rascar checked, Palevic bet 300,000. Rascar called to see the Q♦ turn, where he checked it over to Palevic, who bet 700,000. Rascar took a peek at the stack of Palevic and seeing he had 1,000,000 behind, he shoved. Palevic snap-called.

Palevic was well ahead with his aces and in prime position to double up. Rascar's semi bluff had one chance to earn a return on the hand, and he maximized his profit as the J♣ smacked the river to give him a straight, which ended Palevic's run in 23rd.

The flop came J♦6♠4♣ and Zereg, impeccably dressed in a sharp black fedora, continued for 80,000. Gotuzzo called and the 9♣ fell on the turn.

Zereg then bet 250,000 and Gotuzzo called once more. The river was the 10♥ and Zereg bet 375,000.

Gotuzzo used a time bank before calling, and Zereg turned over K♦K♠ to win the pot.
