Sergio Carro Marin
Sergio Carro Marin

Sergio Carro Marin raised to 200,000 in the cutoff and Joao Webber called in the big blind.

The flop came J99 and Marin continued for 150,000. Webber then raised to 500,000 and Marin called.

Webber led out for 355,000 on the 3 turn and Marin called. The river was the 5 and Webber moved all in.

Marin took a few seconds before calling for his last 1,305,000, and Webber showed A4 for a bluff. Marin turned over QJ for two pair as he won the pot to double up.

PokerStars Confirms EPT Paris Returns in 2026

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
EPT Paris
EPT Paris

PokerStars has confirmed that European Poker Tour (EPT) will return to Paris as part of the online poker giant's live poker schedule in 2026. Following huge attendances in 2023 and 2024, the 2025 edition of EPT Paris was cancelled amid regulatory challenges. However, PokerStars has overcome those hurdles and the 2026 EPT Paris is scheduled to run from February 18 through March 1 at the Le Palais des Congres.

"We're delighted to have Paris back on the EPT schedule in 2026 and to be able to collaborate once again with Club Barriere," said Cedric Billot, Associate Director of Live Events. "It's a player favorite for many reasons: the unique atmosphere, it's a great location accessible from all over Europe, and when it comes to enjoying your time away from the poker tables, well, Paris is a city that takes some beating. We can't wait to be back in the French capital and welcome players to the Palais de Congres in February."

Flashback: Stephen Song Wins 2024 EPT Barcelona Main Event Title

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Stephen Song
Stephen Song

Last year in Barcelona, the European Poker Tour (EPT) celebrated its 20th anniversary in style. Despite the black clouds and torrential downpour outside Casino Barcelona, which contrasted with the sunny scenes of previous PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona Main Events, Stephen Song provided the warmth needed in the room as he proudly hoisted the 20th Anniversary Golden Shard trophy.

On the final day of the Main Event, Song found himself all-in and at risk on five separate occasions. Lady luck smiled down upon him each time as he scratched and clawed his way to the win. But what was the secret to running so pure?

"You just keep showing up and eventually you're just going to win, right? Just mathematically, it has to happen," Song told PokerNews. "I will say that my mom said she was praying for me very hard during this tournament. I've been sun-running the whole seven days, so I'm definitely thankful for that."

Rascar Fails to Bluff Brzezinski

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Yohan Rascar
Yohan Rascar

Yohan Rascar raised to 160,000 from under the gun and Tomasz Brzezinski called from the button.

Rascar continued with a bet of 255,000 on the 782 flop, and Brzezinski stuck in the call.

A Q dropped on the turn and Rascar fired a second barrel of 625,000. Once again, Brzezinski continued in the form of a call.

The dealer burned a card and delivered the 4 on the river. Rascar quickly gathered together a bet of 1,250,000, which got Brzezinski to go into the tank. After deliberating for a while, Brzezinski stuck in the call.

Rascar immediately said, "You win," and tabled a bluff with K10. Brzezinski showed 99 for a pair of nines, and went to dinner break with almost seven million in chips. Rascar, on the other hand, moved to the bottom of the chip counts with just over eleven big blinds.

Zereg Shows an Ace Twice

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Umberto Zaffagnini raised to 175,000 under the gun as action folded around to Youssef Zereg in the big blind. He exposed the A and gave up the pot to Zaffagnini.

The next hand, the table folded to Zereg who moved all in for around 1,000,000 in the small blind. Zaffagnini quickly folded his big blind and Zereg held up the A.

"You look like a magician," Cesar Garcia told him.

With AK, Yohan Rascar made it 160,000 from the button, and Thomas Eychenne called from the big blind holding 43.

A flop of 5102 came down, and Eychenne checked the action over to Rascar, who chose to bet 225,000. Eychenne went for the most aggressive option available to him, as he check-raised to 675,000. Rascar instantly folded, and Eychenne picked up the pot.
