Both players checked on the 2♥7♣10♠ flop, prompting Yamanaka to lead out for 12,000 on the 5♦ turn. Barroco called.

The K♣ river completed the board, and Yamanaka checked. In response, Barroco moved all in, asking Yamanaka to risk his tournament life should he call.

Yamanaka immediately put his two remaining time extensions into the middle, indicating he needed some thinking time.
