Wilson Unable to Spin It Up

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Shannon Shorr opened to 6,500 in early position and picked up a couple of callers before Brock Wilson jammed all in for his last 10,000 on the button. The door was open and Shorr ran right through it by shoving all in for around 100,000. The other two players folded and the cards were tabled.

Brock Wilson: A7All in
Shannon Shorr: J10

"You're ahead!" Chance Kornuth pointed out. However, the flop of J42 put Shorr in the lead with a pair of jacks. The 10 on the turn improved him to two pair and Wilson was left drawing dead to the 5 on the river.

Kornuth Takes From Weng Again, Ausmus Relives His Royal Flush

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jeremy Ausmus was recently moved to the same table as Chance Kornuth, Bin Weng, and Shannon Shorr.

"Jeremy, what suit was that Royal Flush"" Shorr asked about Ausmus' memorable hand yesterday when he beat quad aces.

"Diamonds," Ausmus replied, and the table spent a few minutes discussing the hand while Kornuth and Weng went heads-up to the Q72 flop.

"I told the guy when he moved all in, I know I have you beat but I have to get my camera," Ausmus said as Weng bet 8,500 from the big blind. Kornuth called in the small blind.

Weng bet another 43,500 on the 8 turn, and Kornuth again called. The 7 river was quickly checked down, and Kornuth showed Q9 for two pair to win the pot.
