Hao Tian

Hao Tian shoved the cutoff for 660,000 and Aliaksei Boika also moved all in from the button for around 1,300,000.

Hao Tian: A5
Aliaksei Boika: 99

Tian had already escaped with ace-five earlier in the day, but lightning didn't strike twice as the K2426 runout kept the pocket nines of Boika in the lead.

Just before, Daniel Rezaei also hit the rail.

Klein & Badziakouski Are Out

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Morten Klein
Morten Klein

When it folded to Morten Klein in the small blind, he jammed for around 500,000 with just Jesse Lonis to get through in the big blind. Lonis peeked at his cards and then made the call with slightly more chips than Klein.

Morten Klein: Q8 All in
Jesse Lonis: A10

Lonis was ahead, but Klein had two live cards working in his favor. The flop of 9AJ gave Lonis top pair, while Klein picked up a straight flush draw. A 4 turn didn't help Klein, and neither did the J river.

Klein wished the table good luck, as all of his chips were absorbed into Lonis' stack.

just before Klein's departure, Mikita Badziakouski was seen exiting the tournament area as he had been eliminated.

Ladev Sees Into the Future

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Markkos Ladev
Markkos Ladev

Markkos Ladev shoved for 230,000 from the hijack after the money bubble burst and he was put at risk by Kayhan Mokri in the small blind.

Markkos Ladev: A2 All in
Kayhan Mokri: KQ

Ladev was ahead, and despite the 10610 flop giving him a flush draw, he was already wishing his tablemates good luck. Mokri joined in and said "good game", but the 2 turn didn't change anything.

However, Ladev seemed to know what was coming and the Q river did send him home in 34th, the first spot in in the money.

Puetz & Ladva Bubble the Main Event

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Christopher Puetz
Christopher Puetz

The remaining 34 players are all in the money, following two simultaneous eliminations.

First, Artur Martirosian raised to 100,000 from the cutoff and Christopher Puetz jammed for 590,000 out of the big blind. Martirosian snap-called.

Christopher Puetz: KQ All in
Artur Martirosian: AK

Puetz needed to find a queen or he would be leaving the tournament empty-handed. The runout of K66410 gave both players a pair of kings, but Martirosian's ace-kicker played, and Puetz was out.

At another table, Manuel Fritz opened from middle position and Ottomar Ladva jammed for around 1,200,000 from the button. Once the blinds folded, Fritz called to put Ladva at risk.

Ottomar Ladva: AK All in
Manuel Fritz: QQ

With the crowd around the table, the dealer put out a flop of 32J, keeping the Ladies of Fritz in the lead. Ladva was unable to find any help on the J turn or Q river as Fritz improved to a boat.

Ladva joined Puetz on the rail, and the remaining players had all locked up at least $43,000.

Mokri Survives On the River

Level 17 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Kayhan Mokri
Kayhan Mokri

Kayhan Mokri opened from under the gun and Roman Stoika shoved for 800,000 from the cutoff. When it got back to Mokri, he called for his remaining 480,000.

Kayhan Mokri: AQ All in
Roman Stoika: AK

Mokri was in rough shape, and it didn't get much better on the 104A flop. A 9 on the turn left him with just three outs, but three outs was all he needed as the Q rolled off on the river to give him two pair.
