Gibson Puts His Opponent in the Blender

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Action was opened under the gun when Stephen Gibson limped for 600. The next player to act in middle position and raised to 1,600. A player in late position called and Gibson called after the blinds folded.

The 9A5 flop hit the felt and Gibson opted to lead out for 3,000. His opponent in middle position thought it over and eventually landed on a raise to 10,200. The late position player folded and Gibson stuck in a call.

The 6 seemed to be a blank but Gibson disagreed. He took the opportunity to lead again for 10,000 after just being raised the previous street. His opponent immediately looked intrigued but ultimately landed on a fold after about a minute in the tank.

Gibson scooped the pot after some not-so-solver approved play.
