With Q♥9♠10♣5♠ on the felt, Travis Rodgers bet 25,000 from middle position into a pot of about 60,000. His opponent in the big blind was deep in tank. After a couple of minutes, he mucked 10♥9♥ face up.

Rodgers showed Q♣5♣, much to the amazement of the rest of the players at the table, who all said they couldn't believe the fold his opponent made.

Brad Butcher limped early and a player on the button made it 16,000 to go. Travis Rodgers called in the small blind, as did Butcher.

On the 8♦10♥K♥ flop, Butcher led all in for 17,000. Both opponents called him. The Q♥ turned and the player on the button jammed after Rodgers checked.

"I know I'm gonna regret it if I fold this," Rodgers said. He finally folded with a sigh.

The A♣ kept the flush best for Butcher.

Travis Rodgers appears to have run away with the chip lead at this still-early juncture, amassing a stack of nearly 250,000.

In one recent hand, Rodgers was heads up in middle position against an under-the-gun opponent on a board of 5♥7♣8♥8♣. Rodgers bet 20,000 into 50,000 or so, and his opponent called. On the 3♣ river, Rodgers bet 24,000, and that earned him a quick fold.
