Cory Brinkman bet 3,000 on an A♦K♣8♥ flop from the hijack, and players in the big blind and early position called. Everyone checked the 5♦, bringing a 4♣ river. The big blind led out for 7,500. The next player snap-called, giving Brinkman some pause. However, he ultimately called.

The big blind showed A♣9♣ for top pair, which was enough to get the early player to muck. Brinkman had that beat with A♥Q♥, however.
