Shorter Finds a Call to Double Off Hughes

"Put in the report that he said f**k," Daniel Hughes said after he moved all in from the cutoff on a board of 31098. Cale Shorter was in early position and tanked for several minutes before another tablemate called the clock. Shorter eventually called for his last 35,500.

Hughes turned over 76 for a straight, but Shorter had a higher straight with QJ. The river was the Q, and Shorter doubled up. "I should've waited until the river," Hughes added.

Gable Flops the Joint to Bust Toscano

Four-handed on a flop of K910, Arturo Toscano moved all in for 21,000 from the big blind and only Shaun Gable called in early position.

His opponent turned over QQ, but Hughes had rivered a straight with 52. "That was bad. I was going to bluff him and I got there," Hughes sheepishly said as he raked in the double up.

"How does Hellmuth do it?" Rodney Spriggs said as he splashed in his last 11,800 from the button on a flop of 28J.

"I have this. What do you want me to do if you guys check to me?" Spriggs added as he held up the dealer button. The table folded around to Grant Givens in the big blind, and he called to put Spriggs at risk.

Givens was ahead with top pair, while Spriggs had a flush draw. The Q turn gave Spriggs his flush, and he secured the double up after the A river.

Cory Plante had just busted Ali Fadel when he picked up queens against Fadel's ace-queen. He then got involved in a pot against Logan Langley.

Langley bet 3,000 from the cutoff on a flop of 9310 and Plante called in the big blind. Langley then moved all in for 15,000 on the J turn. "I turned a straight," Plante said as he snap-called.

Langley showed 108, but he was drawing dead against Plante's KQ. The river was the 5 and Langley was sent to the rail.

"What's happening? We need some players," another tablemate said.

Logan Langley moved all in for 7,000 from the big blind and Arturo Toscano called in early position, as did Cory Plante in middle position. Plante then bet 10,000 on the J54 flop to chase away Toscano.

Plante was ahead with his sevens, but the 6 fell on the turn to give Langley two pair and the lead. The river was the 10, and Langley tripled up.

Doyon folded as action went back on Messner. "I'm going to give you all my money. I need the board to pair," Messner said as he moved all in for 15,000, and Karn snap-called.
