New Seat Proves Unlucky For Lupo

Level 13 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Remo Lupo
Remo Lupo

Remo Lupo had just moved tables when he and Andres Gallego went to a flop of 795. Lupo then moved all in for 67,000 from the big blind. "If you got me, you got me. What am I going to do?" Lupo said as Gallego quickly called in early position.

Remo Lupo: K9 All in
Andres Gallego: A9

Lupo had flopped top pair, but he was far behind Gallego's ace-kicker and nut flush draw. The 10 turn gave Gallego his flush, and Lupo was drawing dead going to the 8 river.

"I was there all day. I get moved and right away I get f**ked," Lupo lamented on his way to the rail.

Vinny Pahuja: KK All in
Constantin Andronache: JJ

All-in Player: A10 All in
Michael Cohen: AQ

Cohen had his opponent dominated, and the 6J992 board kept him in the lead with his queen-kicker to send his opponent to the rail.

"See what I do for you guys?" Cohen said to his tablemates after the hand.

Grabel Finds a Call to Double Off Newman

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Charles Newman limped in from under the gun and the small blind also came along before Kevin Grabel raised to 15,000 in the big blind. Only Newman called.

Grabel checked the K98 flop, and Newman bet 15,000. Grabel called to the 7 turn and checked again, and Newman stood up from his seat and announced all in.

"I don't know what to do. Should I stand up, too?" Grabel joked with Newman as he went deep into the tank.

"Take your time. Nobody is going to call the clock," tablemate Remo Lupo told him. Grabel agonized over the decision for several minutes, but he eventually called for his last 159,000.

He showed KQ for top pair, while Newman had 107 for a pair and straight draw. The A river was safe for Grabel, and he earned the double up.

Castro Gives It Right Back as Moon Scoops With Queens

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

"This is a big one here," a tablemate said as Demetrios Frangias was all in from the big blind, while Seunghwan Moon and Federico Castro went to a flop of K8J with more than 200,000 already in the pot.

Moon then bet 50,000 from early position, and Castro called in middle position. The turn was the K and Moon moved all in for 137,000. Castro spent several minutes in the tank, but he eventually called to put Moon at risk.

Frangias showed 77, while Castro had 99. "Let's go!" Moon yelled out, shooting up from his seat and turning over QQ. The river was the A and he scooped the massive pot, sending Frangias to the rail while earning a double up off Castro.
