Refos Takes from Langfeldt

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Nicolay Langfeldt, who finished 17th in the last Unibet Open event in Cannes, check-called a bet of 1,100 by Raoul Refos on the flop {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and then led the {J-Clubs} turn for 2,500. Refos called and they both checked down the {9-Hearts} river to see Langfeldt turn over {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a pair of nines and busted straight draw.

Refos had a very similar hand in {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and won the pot with kicker king.

The Flying Dutchman Joins the Field

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Marcel Luske has entered the competition at the end of level one and was just spotted opening to 600. The player in the big blind called and then checked the flop {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Luske continued for 1,500 and that won the pot for the "Flying Dutchman". One table over contains some late registrants and makes for a constellation with Pierre Neuville, Micha Noedemaker and Mateusz Moolhuizen.

Santos Rising Early

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

It was only a small pot that Tiago Santos won after the river of a board {5-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{A-Spades} was checked down. The Portuguese showed {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for a pair of queens and that won the hand, confirming the positive trend early on for Santos. He was in fact identified by Quentin Lecomte, who just entered as well.

Graham Losing Some Ground

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Picking up the action on the {4-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} turn, Dennis Kleinleugemors bet 2,000 out of the small blind and initial preflop aggressor David Graham called from the button. The river brought the {Q-Clubs} and Kleinleugemors repeated his bet of 2,000 to get called by Graham. The Brit, who had won his entry to this event in an online Freeroll on Unibet, mucked when he was shown {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} by his opponent and dropped some chips.
