Surinder Your Chips

Surinder Sunar is heads up with an opponent. The board reads {K-?} {8-?} {10-?} {10-?} .

Sunar leads out for a bet to which his opponent responds by raising the pot. Sunar makes the call all in with {K-?} {K-?} {J-?} {3-?}.

His unfortunate opponent shows {8-?} {8-?} x x.

The river comes {7-?} and Sunar doubles up to 40,000.

Don't Ask Why

After losing that hand to Mark Vos, a short-stacked Joe Hachem got his last 3,000 or so in with 8-7-6-6 on a flop of {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. His opponent showed {A-Spades}{K-Spades}-x-x.

The turn {7-Spades} and river {5-Spades} gave Hachem's opponent a runner-runner flush, and Hachem was done.

"Why do I get punished like this?" asked Hachem as he got up. "How bad can you run, Joe?" chimed Eli Elezra from a nearby table.

Something to Rap About

After some preflop raising, Scott Seiver bet his last 26,000 on a flop of {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Jeff Madsen called.

Seiver {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Madsen {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

Seiver's top two put him ahead. He was still okay after the turn brought the {7-Diamonds}. But the {9-Spades} on the river gave Madsen the flush and sent Seiver home.

Madsen is up to 90,000.

Aussie Battle

Joe Hachem limped, then reraised Mark Vos’s 800 button raise to 3,950. Vos made the call before the flop came {K-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {6-Spades}.

Hachem bet out and Vos snap-called with {10-Spades} {K-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {7-Spades}.

Hachem had {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {8-Hearts} {7-Hearts}.

The turn {2-Spades} changed nothing and river just cemented Vos's hand.

He doubled up to 17,000, whereas Hachem moved down to just 3,000.
