Phil Ivey Eliminated by David Bach

Razz:

Phil Ivey (X) (X) {A-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {J-Clubs} (X)
David Bach (X) (X) {7-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {J-Clubs} (X)
Unknown Opponent (X) (X) {A-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}

The {A-Clubs} completed, David Bach called, Phil Ivey raised, and both players called. Ivey led out on fourth street and got two callers. On fifth, Bach made the low board and bet out. Ivey made what looked like a reluctant call all in for his last 1,500 and the third player folded.

Bach turned up 7-6-5-4-2 and sent Ivey to the rail.

'The Panzer' Gets Tanked...

Stud-8:

Anthony Lellouche: {2-Spades} {10-Spades} {Q-Spades} {4-Spades}
George 'The Panzer' Danzer: {K-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}

We join the action on fifth street where Danzer bet 2,400. Lellouche called and a third player folded {6-?} {2-?} {9-?}.

On sixth when Danzer made open queens he checked to Lellouche who checked behind. Getting seventh, Danzer checked and now Lellouche bet.

The German sighed, "There's too much money in there to pass..."

He made the call and Lellouche said, "I already had it, flipping {A-Spades} {8-Spades} with the {7-Hearts} to make a low as well.

Danzer said, "You gave me a free shot at my house?"

Lellouche nodded then said, "You would call a bet on sixth?" and the German nodded vigourously.

Mike Matusow Doubles Through David Pham

2 1/2 pots, kiddies!
2 1/2 pots, kiddies!
Stud:

Mike Matusow's table is rather close to media row and over the last half hour or so, we've heard nothing from him but how he's only won one and a half pots all night. He's now nearly doubled that number, getting all in against David Pham on third street in stud high, his kings and sevens besting Pham's deuces and treys to take his stack up to 12,000.

Rousso Reclaims Chips from Nguyen

No-Limit Hold'em:

Scotty Nguyen opened from late position for 1,700 and Vanessa Rousso called from the big blind. The flop came down {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {2-Spades} and Rousso check-called a 1,500 bet from Nguyen. The turn fell the {3-Clubs} and Rousso checked again. Nguyen bet 4,000, Rousso raised to 10,000, Nguyen made it 20,000 and Rousso moved all in.

After a lengthy tank, Nguyen folded, saving the 39,000 he had left. Rousso dragged the pot, taking her stack up to 85,000.

Ruthenberg Chops Down Forrest

Triple Draw:

Sebastian Ruthenberg is one of Germany's hottest players at the moment. Last year he won the $5,000 Stud-8 event here and followed it up with an EPT win in Barcelona.

After the first draw he reraised Ted Forrest and Forrest 3-bet. Ruthenberg made the call, Forrest stood pat and Ruthenberg drew two.

Forrest bet 2,000 and Ruthenberg called. Forrest stood pat and Ruthenberg drew one card. Forrest checked and Ruthenberg bet 2,000. The five-time bracelet winner made the call and Ruthenberg showed a number two, {7-?} {6-?} {4-?} {3-?} {2-?}.

Ruthenberg has 41,000. Forrest is on 20,000 but on this table it looks as though Jimmy 'Gobboboy' Fricke is the chip leader, he has 86,000.

Ivey Doubles

2-7 Triple Draw:

Phil Ivey raised from the button, the small blind three-bet and Ivey called. Ivey drew three cards while the small blind drew one. The small blind bet out and Ivey called all in for 4500. On the next two draws the small blind drew one while Ivey drew two.

"Pair" said the small blind.

Ivey turned up J-6-5-4-2 and took it down, doubling his stack to 8,000.

Juanda, Benyamine Gone: Ivey Survives

Triple Draw:

Phil Ivey is still in but only with about 5,000 after making a J-6-5-4-2 to survive.

John Juanda and David Benyamine have been knocked out though. The French man's exit occureed when he was all in with {A-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} but found Chad Brown behind him with {A-Hearts} {7-Hearts} which won on a {2-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {10-Hearts} board.

Jean-Robert Survives

Pot-Limit Omaha:

Jean-Robert Bellande made a stand with {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {5-Hearts}, getting the rest of his stack after a raising war with Dario Minieri, who showed {K-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {9-Hearts} {3-Spades}.

The board ran out {5-Clubs} {5-Spades} {2-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {2-Clubs}, Bellande's aces holding to double him up to 19,600, Minieri's stack is still healthy at 48,000.
