Todd Brunson - 14th Place
Mario Ho has obviously decided to kick things up a gear. In the first hand she three-bet preflop from the small blind against Soheil Shamseddin and eventually took it down with a river bet on the board.
The very next hand Shamseddin raised again and Todd Brunson called. Mario Ho then reraised from the button and both opponents called.
The flop fell and action checked to Ho who fired a bet. Shamseddin folded and Brunson check-raised. Ho quickly reraised to put Brunson all in and he made the call.

Very similar holdings and the table was a little surprised to see Ho's aggression with such a hand. She held the lead and didn't want to see a heart, but the turn and river bricked , . A disgruntled Brunson departed in 14th place to collect a payday of $32,693.
Matt Hawrilenko has picked up a nice pot courtesy of Michiel Brummelhuis.
Brummelhuis raised in early position and Hawrilenko looked him up from the big blind. They saw an flop and the betting went check, bet, raise, reraise, call. Interesting.
Both players checked the turn, and Hawrilenko bet out on the river; call.
Brummelhuis just mucked when Hawrilenko turned over for the straight, though.
Hawrilenko: up to 780,000
Brummelhuis: down to 400,000
Looks as though our shorties right now are these poor folks...
Mark Teltscher: 100,000
Jennifer Harman: 140,000
Greg Mueller: 160,000
Todd Brunson: 170,000
Incidentally as some players were clamoring for a break while others objected, a compromise has been come to which makes this the last level of the night, come what may. We will be stopping in 50 minutes regardless of whether we've made our final table or not.
Mark Klecan opened with a raise before Daniel Alaei put in the three-bet. Ralph Perry then committed all of his chips with another raise with both opponents making the call.
They saw a flop of and Klecan bet into the side pot with Alaei calling. The turn was the and again Klecan fired with Alaei finally releasing.
Klecan tabled for top pair as Perry's had suddenly shriveled up to need a ten on the river to survive.
It didn't arrive as the fell to give Klecan the pot and eliminate Perry in 15th place for a payday of $32,693.
Phil Tom - 16th Place
Michiel Brummelhuis raised in the hijack and Mark Klecan three-bet the cutoff. Perennial shortie Phil Tom four-bet from the big blind leaving himself just 10,000 behind; he received two callers.
Come the flop Tom open-shoved for his last 10,000 and both his opponents called. Brummelhuis bet out on the turn, and now Klecan passed.
"I got you," said Brummelhuis, and indeed he did -- his pocket for a flopped full house left Tom and his pocket drawing thin -- and the that landed on the river was not what Tom was looking for. Out he goes in 16th place.
Catching the action on a board of Mark Teltscher fired out a bet from the small blind before Matt Glantz raised. Teltscher called and the landed on the river.
Teltscher checked and Glantz bet with Teltscher shaking his head for some time before making a crying call.
Cries turned to tears when Glantz revealed to take it down. Teltscher is left with just 95,000 chips.
After Matt Glantz raised from the cutoff, Maria Ho three-bet from the button. The blinds folded and Glantz made the call.
The flop fell and Glantz checked, then called the continuation bet of Ho.
The turn brought the and both player checked. The river was a repeat to scare both into checking once again. Glantz was hoping his pocket fives were good but Ho flipped for a pair of sixes to collect the pot.
A couple of notable observers have wandered inside the ropes of the final two tables to wish their friends good luck. Tiffany Michelle was spotted giving a hug to Maria Ho and Greg Mueller while Phil Hellmuth is loitering around the tables chatting to...well...everyone.
"Man there's some great players here," he confirmed.
