Josh Arieh raised under the gun to 2,000 and Frank Kassela called in middle position. Danny Fuhs called from the button and both blinds, David Chiu and Daniel Alaei, called as well.
The flop came down and after two checks Arieh bet 5,200. Kassela was the only player that called.
The turn was the and Arieh checked. Kassela threw out 8,500, and the third place finisher of the 2004 WSOP Main Event called. The river was the and both players checked.
"Sixes," Arieh announced after which Kassela quickly turned over . Arieh mucked and Kassela raked in the pot.
Action folded to Bruno Fitoussi in the cutoff and he put in a raise. Lyle Berman made the call from the button, and then Richard Ashby three-bet from the small blind. Both Fitoussi and Berman made the call, but both players folded when Ashby bet the flop.
Despite winning that small pot, Ashby is down considerably from the last time we checked in with him.
We caught the action with 14,400 in the pot and a board reading . Viktor "Isildur1" Blom had just bet 12,000 from the hijack and received a call from Mike Wattel in the cutoff. When the appeared on the river, Blom announced a pot-sized bet of 38,400 while remaining still.
The dealer signaled for Blom to put out chips, which the Swede did. Wattel then hit the tank for a couple of minute, during which Blom did his best to impersonate a statue. He swayed a bit, but it didn't seem to make much difference to Wattel as he shook his head and sent his cards to the muck.
