Finger Sends One to the Rail

Level 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

With a little over 5,000 in the pot already, the dealer spread the flop of {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Martin Finger was in the small blind and heads-up with an opponent under the gun. Finger checked to his opponent who bet 5,000 only to have Finger check-raise all in. His opponent called off his last 15,100 chips and the cards were tabled.

Martin Finger: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Opponent: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Finger had an overcard and a flush draw against his opponent's pocket pair. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn changed nothing but the {a-Diamonds} on the river gave Finger the best hand with two pair, aces and nines.

Duarte Takes from Liberto

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Luiz Duarte had opened to 500 in middle position and Justin Liberto and one other player had called from the blinds.

The three of them were facing a {j-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop. With checks all round, the dealer placed an {a-Diamonds} on the turn. Liberto and the big blind checked and Duarte made it 750 to continue. Liberto upped it to 3,100 and that got his neighbour out of the way but Duarte called.

The final card was the {4-Clubs}. Liberto checked and Duarte did the same.

Luiz Duarte: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Justin Liberto: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The favorite preflop held all the way to the river and Duarte has chipped up nicely.

Hallaert Turns a Set, Sends Aces Out the Door

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante
Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

On a board reading {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and around 5,800 in the middle, the action was on the button who bet 4,000. Kenny Hallaert check-raised all in from the cutoff, putting his opponent to the test for another 15,000 chips.

He went deep into the tank and thought for over three minutes before finally making the call. Hallaert flipped over {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for a set of fives while his opponent tabled {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. The river was the {2-Clubs} and Hallaert's turned set sent his opponent out the doors with aces.
