Ormsby Takes Out Yunis

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

On a board that read {6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, Nicolas Yunis had bet 20,000 and was facing a decision for the rest of his stack as he had been raised all in by David Ormsby. Yunis considered his 27,000 left behind and thought it out. After a few moments he exasperatedly tossed in his chips.

Ormsby revealed the {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for the straight while Yunis only had the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, drawing dead to a chop. The river was the {a-Clubs} to end Yunis's short run and give Ormsby a size-able stack.

Song Shoves, Chops

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Chen Song was in a middle position, facing off against his right-hand neighbor on a turn reading {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Song bet 10,000 in position and his opponent check-raised to 20,000. Song jammed for 56,200 and the other player tanked for over a minute. Then he said, "I call."

It was a guaranteed chop as Song showed {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} while his opponent tabled {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. The {k-Hearts} river couldn't change anything and both players pulled their stacks back.

The river fell the {k-Spades}, and Liu led for 1,600 and Phan folded.

Owen's Aces Get Cracked

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Brad Owen raised to 1,100 from middle position, and was called by Raymond Nocon in the big blind.

Nocon checked the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop to Owen, who bet 1,100. Nocon called.

Both players checked the {3-Diamonds} turn, and the {j-Diamonds} fell on the river. Nocon bet 3,000 and Owen quickly called. Nocon showed {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a straight and Owen mucked.

"I had aces," Owen said as Nocon raked in the pot.

The river was the {10-Clubs} and Dawley's opponent checked. Dawley bet 4,000 and her opponent called.

Vang Gets a Shove Through

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Teng Vang sat on the button and he saw a player raise in front of him to 1,200. Another player called and Vang put his last 10,700 in the middle. The player in the big blind asked how much more it was to call but then realized that Vang was all in.

He folded and so did the players who raised and called.

Cynn Bet-Folds the Turn

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

John Cynn opened with a raise in early position and was met with a call from both players in the blinds.

The flop landed {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and both blinds checked to Cynn who bet 1,100. The blinds each called, and when the {a-Hearts} fell on the turn, they each checked again.

Cynn bet 3,400, and in response, the small blind check-raised to 8,200. The big blind folded, as did Cynn, and the World Champion dropped below 20,000 in chips.
