D'Ambrosio Gets Kulev to Fold Top Pair

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Jimmy D'Ambrosio and Alex Kulev went heads-up to the river on a board of {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Kulev, first to act, bet 15,500 before D'Ambrosio raised to 31,000.

"You got ace-king," D'Ambrosio asked Kulev.

"Ace-king no good?" Kulev answered.

Kulev eventually folded to hand the pot to D'Ambrosio. "Pay that gentleman," he said as D'Ambrosio was pushed the big pot. Kulev admitted afterward he did indeed fold {a-}{k-}.

"I had ace-king beat on the turn," D'Ambrosio confessed.

Hankins Gets Full Value Through Flopped Set

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Action was picked up on the turn as it read {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. Robert Hankins bet 11,200 from the button into a pot of about 15,000. His opponent raised to 26,300 from the big blind. Hankins called.

The river was the {5-Spades}. His opponent jammed all in to force Hankins to put the rest of his stack in which he did after a couple of seconds.

His opponent tabled the {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for two pair, but Hankins had that beat as he showed the {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} set and he took down the huge pot as his opponent was left short stacked.

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Jessica Cai
Jessica Cai

There was three-way action on a flop that read {7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

According to table mate Mike Del Vecchio, It was a five-way limped pot. On the flop, the action checked around to Jessica Cai on the button and she bet 1,200. She was called by the player in the small blind but when the big blind acted he three-bet to 5,200.

Cai then raised to 22,200 when the action got back to her. The player in the small blind cold-called and then the player in the big blind jammed all in for 60,000.

Cai shoved over the top. The small blind went into the tank before calling off his stack.

Small Blind: {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Big Blind: {5-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Jessica Cai: {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The small blind flopped the low end of the straight. The big blind flopped a queen-high flush draw and the open-ended straight draw. Cai flopped the nut straight.

The turn and river changed nothing and Cai scooped a massive pot with a double knockout.

Chidwick Cracks Kings

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

A player limped under the gun and Stephen Chidwick raised to 2,000 from early position. Action folded back around to the under-the-gun player, who called.

The flop came out {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and the under-the-gun player check-called a bet of 1,400 from Chidwick.

The turn came a {q-Clubs} and the under-the-gun player checked once more. This time Chidwick sized up a bet to 8,000, sending his opponent into the tank. After a little bit, he called and the river of {5-Diamonds} was checked through. The under-the-gun player turned over {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} for a pair of kings, and Chidwick turned over {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a pair of aces, which was good for the pot.
