Everybody Raises

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Bradley Helm raised to 900 preflop from the hijack and was called by Glenn Ward on the button and David Einhorn in the big blind.

The flop came down {3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and action checked to Helm who bet 1,300 and was met with an immediate raise from Ward to 3,400. Einhorn got out of the way and action went back over to Helm who called.

The turn came a {3-Diamonds} and Helm checked to Ward who bet 4,000 and was met with a raise to 11,000 which caused Helm to look at Ward quizzically. After some thinking Ward tossed his hand into the muck and said "is it possible you have some kind of a three?" Helm shrugged and said "It's possible," while raking in the pot.

Kelsey Escapes From Elimination

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Raymond Rivera raised it up and David Kelsey then jammed his short stack of 8,600 in from the button. Brandon Bowers in the big blind tanked for a while and clicked it back, which forced a fold from Rivera.

David Kelsey: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Brandon Bowers: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

"I folded queens," Rivera said in table chat while Kelsey asked for an ace on the flop. That wish was denied but the ace fell on the turn of the {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Spades}{6-Hearts} board for Kelsey to double.

Waldbaum Hustles Some Chips

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

With the board showing {8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, Carla Waldbaum threw out a green 25,000 chip. Her opponent on the button called and Waldbaum showed {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} for the rivered full house to win the pot.

"Short to strong, that's a hustler right there," a tablemate said.

"She's been acting like she doesn't know what she's doing," another tablemate added.

Bunal Catches Some More Chips

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Florencio Bunal, who was dressed in a full Pikachu costume earlier but has since taken off the mask, called a pre-flop raise of 1,200 from the hijack and saw the flop against four opponents.

The flop came {9-Spades}{a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and a player in middle position bet 2,200. Bunal then raised to 6,000 and everyone but the original better folded. Bunal bet another 7,000 on the {6-Spades} and his opponent tanked for about two minutes before letting go of his hand. Bunal showed {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

"Pikachu, still in," Bunal yelled as he raked in the chips to climb back up to starting stack.
