Cai Wins a Small Pot

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Connor Arlia accidentally exposed queen-ten when he folded from an early position and Jerry Wong then raised to 22,000. Jessica Cai called on the button, as did the big blind. The flop brought {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and was checked through. On the {9-Diamonds} turn it checked to Cai and she bet 20,000 in order to force two folds and collect the pot, moving back to nearly 1.5 million in chips.

Dzivielevski Puts Opponent to the Test

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

An early position player raised to 23,000 and Yuri Dzivielevski three-bet to 105,000 from the big blind. His opponent called.

The flop was {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Dzivielevski bet 75,000. His opponent called.

On the {4-Clubs} turn, Dzivielevski thought for some time before putting in a stack of green chips, enough to cover his opponent's 200,000 chips or so. His opponent quickly threw his cards in the muck and Dzivielevski added to his stack.

Christopher Dowling
Christopher Dowling

On a completed board of {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, Joseph Cutler got his stack in and was snap-called by Chris Dowling. Cutler tabled the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for a pair of aces but Dowling had gotten there with the {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a flush to eliminate Cutler.

The Irishman recalled that he had dipped to 1.2 million not long ago but recovered all that as he moved back to where he was in the Tan section earlier on Day 4.
