Mannoni Bests Zinno, Gets Shown Aces by Hudson

Level 6 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Anthony Zinno just took his seat in the tournament and wasted no time getting involved in a pot. Zinno called a raise from the big blind in a multi-way pot and led out on the {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop.

Paul Mannoni in middle position was the only caller. The turn came the {5-Clubs} and Zinno bet again. Mannoni came back with a raise.

"Only to you," Zinno said with a wry smile as he folded {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

The next hand, Mannoni, Brandon Shack-Harris, and Shannon Hudson went to a flop of {k-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Hudson bet and both opponents called.

Mannoni led out on the {10-Hearts} turn, Shack-Harris folded, and Hudson raised. Mannoni called, then check-called a bet on the {7-Hearts} river.

Hudson turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and Mannoni briefly flashed {a-}{k-} before mucking.

Pupillo Raises it Away

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

With about 4,300 in the pot, the turn read {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Joseph Dimartino put out a bet before Nicholas Pupillo raised.

Dimartino thought about it for about ten seconds and decided to push his cards into the muck as the dealer shipped the pot to Pupillo.

"Crazy" Mike Fills Up

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

"Crazy" Mike Thorpe just won a pot with a full house, and he did plenty of talking while doing it.

Thorpe bet out on a flop of {3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} and got one caller. "Did I win yet? Who am I up against?" he said as the turn came the {j-Spades}.

Thorpe bet again and was called. "No spade, no five," he pleaded as the river came another {2-}.

Thorpe put out another bet and his opponent called. "Full house," Thorpe yelled, slamming down {4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

Martinho Catches a Triple Barrel Bluff

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Augie Martinho limped under the gun before the hijack raised. The action folded back around to Martinho who made the call.

On the {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, Martinho check-called a bet from the preflop raiser.

The {3-Hearts} landed on the turn and once checked to, the hijack fired again and Martinho called.

When the {j-Diamonds} completed the board, Martinho check-called for a third time and the hijack chuckled as he said, "you're good," tabling {9-Spades}{8-Spades}. Martinho quickly rolled over {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a pair of aces on the flop and the dealer shipped him the pot.

Campbell, Chaplin, Pimlott Tangle on Back-to-Back Hands

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Four players, including Robert Campbell in middle position, Joseph Chaplin in the small blind, and Bryan Pimlott in the big blind, saw a flop of {9-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Spades}. Campbell bet and got two calls, then Pimlott raised.

Campbell three-bet and both Chaplin and Pimlott called to the {7-Hearts} turn. Pimlott bet out and his opponents called. The river came the {k-Spades}, and this time it was Chaplin who did the betting.

Pimlott leaned back in his chair and folded after some consideration, while Campbell let his hand go more quickly.

A hand later, Campbell raised pre-flop and Chaplain and Pimlott again called. The flop came {j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and action checked to Chaplain on the button who bet. Both Pimlott and Campbell called.

The turn came the {7-Hearts} and Chaplain bet again. Pimlott called, but Campbell sent his cards back to the dealer. Both players checked the {10-Hearts} river.

Pimlott turned over {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for the rivered full house and Chaplain mucked.

Picardi Survives Battle With "the Shark"

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Humberto Brenes, sans his trademark shark, was in the big blind and called a raise from Mike Picardi on the button, as did the small blind.

All three players checked the {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop before Picardi bet on the {a-Hearts} turn when action checked to him. Only Brenes called.

The river came the {10-Clubs} and both players checked. Picardi showed the {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a pair of aces and Brenes could only look back at his cards and tap the felt before conceding the pot.

Two Pair for Riesenberg

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Jason Riesenberg raised in early position, the button called before the small blind put in a three-bet. Both Riesenberg and the button called.

The dealer fanned a flop of {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}, the small blind bet, Riesenberg snap-raised, forcing the button to fold and the small blind made the call.

The {a-Clubs} hit the turn and the small blind check-raised, and Riesenberg called.

The {q-Diamonds} completed the board and once checked to, Riesenberg tossed in a bet and was quickly looked up. Riesenberg tabled {a-Spades}{8-Hearts} for two pair, aces and eights and his opponent tossed his cards into the muck.
