A-5 Triple Draw
James Opie began the day as the chip leader but just had his run end at the hands of Danny Wong.
Opie was already all in heading to the last draw when he took two. Wong patted. Opie showed A-6 as he prepared to turn over his last two cards.

. "I threw away an eight," Opie said without getting any help on the draw. He collected his cards and tossed them back to the dealer before making his way to the payout desk.
2-7 Triple Draw
Daniel Negreanu raised from under the gun and Nicholas Marsico called from the button while Yehuda Buchalter came along from the big blind.
On the first draw, Yehuda Buchalter took one while Negreanu and Marsico each drew two. All three players got a bet into the middle and moved to the second draw, where Buchalter took one while Negreanu asked for two again and Marsico drew one.
Buchalter bet and Negreanu called before Marsico tossed his hand in the muck. Buchalter stood pat and Negreanu took one on the final draw.
Both players checked and Buchalter turned over ![]()

to take the pot while Negreanu flashed ![]()
and threw the losing hand in the muck.
Badugi
Matthew Schultz was all in on the second draw and up against Philip Eisman, Frank Kassela, and Larry Tull.
Eisman stood pat and bet, with only Kassela calling. "Don't give me any more of that suit. I don't need any more of those," Kassela instructed the dealer as he took one.
Eisman stood pat again and bet. Kassela flipped over 4-3-2 and mucked. Eisman had ![]()

for a Badugi to win the side pot and eliminate Schultz.
"I don't think you've lost a big pot since you moved over here," Kassela lamented after the hand.
A-5 Triple Draw
Jerry Wong and Galen Hall were already two of the largest stacks in the room before just tangling in a blind vs. blind confrontation.
Wong opened the pot with a raise from the small blind, Hall three-bet in the big blind, and Wong called.
Wong took two and Hall one. When action checked to him, Hall bet and Wong raised. Hall called and both players stood pat.
Wong check-raised again after the second draw. This time, Hall came back with a three-bet and Wong quickly mucked his cards.
2-7 Triple Draw
Vasu Amarapu raised from under the gun and Daniel Strelitz three-bet from the small blind. The big blind got out of the way and Amarapu called.
On the first draw, Strelitz took one and Amarapu took two. Strelitz bet and Amarapu called before both players asked for one on the second draw.
Strelitz check-called a bet from Amarapu and asked for one on the third draw while Amarapu stood pat.

A-5 Triple Draw
Sumir Mathur had added a few chips to his stack since losing the pot to Patrick Leonard and got them all in the middle again.
Leonard and Ralph Perry continued the betting, with Perry moving all in for 22,000 more after Leonard bet the second draw. Leonard called, and both he and Perry stood pat.
"He wins," Leonard said even before seeing Perry's cards. Perry had the nuts, A-2-3-4-5, to double up through Leonard and knock out Mathur.
Nissen Osterneck was also eliminated on another table, meaning the remaining 47 players are now all in the money.
2-7 Triple Draw
Yuebin Guo raised from middle position and Jerry Wong three-bet from the small blind. The big blind got out of the way and Guo called.
Both players took one on the first draw and checked. On the second draw, both players drew one again.
Wong check-called a bet from Guo and both players asked for one on the last draw. Wong led with a bet and Guo called.
