The 2020 WSOP Main Event winner Damian Salas has been hovering around the same stack for an extended period. He just opened to 2,200 and earned a single caller, who then check-called Salas' continuation bet on the A98 flop for 2,100. Both checked the 4 turn and the 2 fell on the river.

Collins Doesn't Show

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action was picked up on the river. Players were heads up and the board read K5QJ2 and there was about 65,000 in the middle. Damien Collins had moved all in for his last 37,000 sending his opponent in middle position deep into the tank.

"Show if I fold?" The middle position player asked his opponent.

"Very Unlikely. I probably won't show", Collins replied.

Eventually the player in middle position folded the K face up and Collins was awarded with a big pot without having to go to showdown.

Yanovski continued on a flop of A9K for 2,300 with Matti coming along. They both checked a 2 turn and 7 river. When Matti showed A9 Yanovski mucked, and Matti took the pot.

"Look at this," Yanovski said, clicking into a browser window. "This works fine, but when I try to get the client to load, nothing happens."

Dayan Loses a Big One

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Yehuda Dayan
Yehuda Dayan

The action was caught on the turn where Yehuda Dayan had bet 45,000 on a board of 8A43 from the big blind. Jose Zaragoza sat in the under the gun position and went all-in for 80,300 and sent Dayan deep into the tank.

Eventually, he reluctantly made the call and the cards were tabled.

Jose Zaragoza: A8
Yeuhda Dayan: A4

A cooler, where both players flopped two pair, however, Zaragoza had the stronger one. The 3 river paired the board but brought neither player a full house, and Zaragoza raked in a double-up while Dayan descended to under 300,000 chips.

Meanwhile, Jesse Capps was also seen at the table, playing a stack of 240,000.

Bonomo Picks Off The Bluff From England

Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

In a three-way pot of close to 9,000 on a board showing 6548, Justin Bonomo bet out 3,000 from the big blind and only Kyna England made the call on the button.

The 4 hit the river and Bonomo checked over to England who tossed out 7,500. Bonomo went in the tank, but after close to 30 seconds, put in the chips for a call.

"Damnit, I saw him writing and wanted to make a move," laughed England as she tabled KJ for king-high.

Bonomo smiled and thanked PokerNews for the assist as he rolled over 65 to take the pot.

England got the last laugh a few hands later, winning a pot against Bonomo to take the last of his chips and send him to the rail.
