Demlakian Fights for the First Pot of the Day

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Vasken Ken Demlakian raised from early position to 1,700 finding three callers; Leon Sturm to his direct left and both the blinds, including Joaquin Beretta in the big blind.

The board came A710 and once checked to, Demlakian continued for 3,600. Only Beretta called.

The turned 9 checked through to the K on the river. Beretta took the lead for 9,300. Demlakian thought on his decision before raising to 28,500, forcing a fold from his opponent and winning this pot without a showdown.

Stival Raises the Turn on Devidal

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Theo Devidal raised to 1,700 from middle position and Cristian Stival called in the hijack.

The flop came 694 and Devidal continued for 3,400. Stival called to see the 5 turn, where Devidal bet another 7,000.

Stival paused for a moment before coming back with a raise to 18,000. Devidal, sitting with a large yellow ball in front of his stack, quickly mucked as Stival collected an early pot.

Denick Shows One

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was picked up on the flop with the board reading A38. A player in the big blind checked and Andrew Denick bet 2,100, receiving a call from his opponent.

Both players checked the 3 turn leading to the J river. The big blind checked and Denick fired a second barrel, this time for 3,200. The big blind thought for about a minute before making the fold.

Denick flashed the A for top pair before scooping an early pot.

Bohn Wins a Three-Bet Pot to Start Day 2

Fernando Gutierrez raised it up to 2,000 in the hijack and Blake Bohn three-bet to 8,500 on his left in the cutoff. The action folded back to Gutierrez who peeled a flop of J85.

Gutierrez checked to Bohn who continued with a large bet of 12,000. Gutierrez thought for a brief moment but opted to lay his hand down.

Three ways to the QJ5 flop, Julien Martini checked and Stanislav Urodlivchenko bet 2,500 for Jeffry Casey on the button and Martini to call. That led them to the 10 river and Martini checked again. Urodlivchenko bet 8,000 and Casey's raise to 20,000 earned the pot without resistance.

Three ways to the K862 turn, Sergi Reixach bet 2,000 and was called only by Glenn Scheck. That led a duo to the A river on which Reixach checked and called a bet worth 2,500. Scheck tabled the 66 for a set and that won the pot.
