Straight for Ricciardi

After an open to 700 by a player in middle position called by the button and the small blind, Dominic Ricciardi defended from the big blind to discover a flop of 103Q.

Ricciardi was the only one to call after the middle-position player continued for 1,200, and he check-called for 3,200 when the middle-position player fired a second barrel on the K turn.

Both players eventually checked the Q river, and Ricciardi revealed J9 for a straight to take the pot.

Joao Simao opened to 800 form early position and was called by the players in the hijack, button, and big blind for a four-way pot.

It was checked to Simao, who bet 1,200 on the 1053 flop. The button and big blind called.

The player in the big blind checked again and Simao barreled for 2,500 on the 3 turn. Only the big blind called.

Both players checked on the J river and Simao's opponent turned over A5 for fives up. Simao revealed Q10 for a higher two pair and was sent the pot.

Action picked up on a board showing 782 with Punnat Punsri involved in a hand against Jangkyu Lee and another player.

Punsri, who had less than 25,000, led out with a 5,000 bet. Lee looked at Punsri from across the table and raised to 25,400. The other player in the hand immediately folded and Punsri called to put his tournament at risk.
