After an open to 700 by a player in middle position called by the button and the small blind, Dominic Ricciardi defended from the big blind to discover a flop of 10♥3♠Q♣.

Ricciardi was the only one to call after the middle-position player continued for 1,200, and he check-called for 3,200 when the middle-position player fired a second barrel on the K♦ turn.

Both players eventually checked the Q♥ river, and Ricciardi revealed J♣9♣ for a straight to take the pot.

Joao Simao opened to 800 form early position and was called by the players in the hijack, button, and big blind for a four-way pot.

It was checked to Simao, who bet 1,200 on the 10♣5♠3♣ flop. The button and big blind called.

The player in the big blind checked again and Simao barreled for 2,500 on the 3♥ turn. Only the big blind called.

Both players checked on the J♥ river and Simao's opponent turned over A♥5♣ for fives up. Simao revealed Q♦10♥ for a higher two pair and was sent the pot.

Three players saw a flop of 2♠3♣2♣. Colin Phoenix bet 1,000 from the hijack and Diego Ventura called on the button while the third player in the hand folded.

The turn was the 5♣. Ventura called the 2,500 bet to go to the river which was the Q♣. Phoenix checked, Ventura fired 5,800 and Phoenix took several moments before he called.

Ventura tabled the 7♠5♠ while Phoenix had a club for the flush with the 6♠6♣.

It was a classic race but one that Bareisis won after the board ran out 5♠2♣A♦8♠9♠ to pair up the at risk player, dealing a hefty blow to his opponent.

Action picked up on a board showing 7♥8♦2♦ with Punnat Punsri involved in a hand against Jangkyu Lee and another player.

Punsri, who had less than 25,000, led out with a 5,000 bet. Lee looked at Punsri from across the table and raised to 25,400. The other player in the hand immediately folded and Punsri called to put his tournament at risk.

Jangkyu Lee: 9♠9♥

Punsri had the flush draw, but he was behind Lee’s overpair to the board.

The dealer placed 10♠ on the turn, and then the 4♥ gave Lee the winning hand and sent Punsri to the rail.

With two players seeing a board of A♣9♥9♣ and about 2,500 in the middle Stephen Marcus checked in the big blind and Brian Perzinski bet 500 from the hijack. Helmut Roy raised to 2,000 from the cutoff, Marcus folded and Perzinski called.

Perzinski check-called a 2,000 bet from Roy on the Q♦ turn. Both players then checked the 7♥ river.

Roy tabled aces up with A♥J♠ and Perzinski's hand hit the muck.

The flop came 5♦10♥K♠, prompting Eisenberg to continue for 3,300. After some thought, von Blanckenburg laid down his hand to concede a healthy pot to Eisenberg
